u sound like me, i hated the last 3 seasons of LOST and the finale. Same with Sons of Anarchy. People dying left and right. Perfect ending till Vic Mackey from the Shield runs over Jax by accident with his truck, even though Jax is on a suicide run.

love married with children. i didn't know they had those episodes though,. i watched a lot of them but missed those 2. Al Bundy was a great tv character.

People love Modern Family. i think it's awful across the board. It's like Al Bundy has a Puerto Rican wife you can't understand and his kids are either in bad marriages or gay, but they still bitch a ton and their kids are bratty.

BTW the only thing that holds Fawlty Towers out of the top spot is that it only had 12 episodes

The rest of the shows allowed into the all-time great comedies discussion, per me and in no particular order except of when I thought of them:

    Arrested Development
    Bob Newhart
    Dick Van Dyke
    Mary Tyler Moore
    All In the Family
    Barney Miller
    Vicar of Dibley
    Taxi
    WKRP In Cincinnati
    Frasier

edit - and both versions of The Office

Dick Van Dyke would definitely be my favorite black and white show.

A really underappreciated program on right now that will most likely live in my Top 5 all time dramas by the time it's done is Humans.

It's Always Sunny started out great. Adding Danny Devito was brilliant. last few seasons have struggled.

    Season 12 was amazing.

    The Gang Turns Black
The Gang Goes to a Water Park
    Wolf Cola
    Dennis' Double Life
    Old Lady House

Some of the best episodes the series has had.

the water park was brilliant. wolf cola was great. i forget the others. the best finale was the court room they did over the spilled coffee and car accident. that was a while back.

Bored To Death was another brilliant comedy that's hard to stack on an all-time list due to its short run.

I was going to mention Frasier. Writing was often brilliant.

Firefly and its one season goes in this category too. Of course it was killed by fox saying hey lets take this show run its episodes out of order move the time it actually airs around all the time and then wonder WTF happened.

Pretty much how they killed Arrested Development the first time around, too.
