This game probably had the worst possible outcome for us.

    1) We lost.
    2) Glennon played well enough at the end that he will get heaps of praise from Fox and probably means we wait even longer to see Trubs.

And now the Lions are winning big. Hopefully the Seahawks can crush the Packers to make me feel a bit better.

I agree Bellamy was held, but the game is on the line, he needs to make the catch. Howard I think does at least cross the plane, he did can't that ball, like they said he felt the defender coming and took his eyes off the ball. He might have gotten stuffed but it would have been close.

The sack wasn't good either and Glennon did play like shit 90% or so of the game. There's blame a plenty to go around. Hell even Hicks despite his great play got a roughing the passer.

Tarik Cohen can flat out play.

    Our front 7 is good.

Our receivers suck. Our secondary sucks. Glennon sucks.

I thought Loggains called a decent game. Fox is a worse in game manager than Lovie.

To me the game falls on howard, you cannot drop that ball. Worst case scenario there you're out of bounds at the one yard line. You cant drop that though, christ.

Cohen needs to be the obvoius passing down back 90% of the time the rest of the way

The game falls on a lot of people.

The 88 yard TD was completely inexcusable.

Receivers were bad....Glennon was mostly bad.

Officials were bad....just a lot of bad all around

Yes me too. I mean he can forget the Glennon bootlegs right now, and i don't understand why Cohen was in so little the final drive. If your gonna dink and dunk it down the field inside 3mins why have Howard in there instead of your passing catching juke machine? But Loggains did do a lot of good things today.

They never did run the wildcat again after the TD play. That suggests it was either a specific red zone/inside the 10 package or it was just a minimal part of their gameplan going in. Either way, i hope they look to utilise that more going forward. Howard and Cohen in the backfield together and Glennon nowhere near the ball can't be a bad thing.

Oh and can i just add....

Anyone watching the Seahawks v the team in yellow game? See some of these home town calls they're getting?? That hold on Bellamy happens in GB with Erin throwing the ball... thats a flag every time.

Complete joke, as always. The ejection call and the "block in back" on the side call on the INT return??? That's points off the board - game should be 7-0.

Kevin White will require season ending surgery on his broken collarbone.

Tanner Gentry will hopefully get picked up off the practice squad. Our roster might just get better because of this.

He plays like complete crap for 3 quarters (I think he 13 yards through 3?), but then has a couple decent drives (mostly on the back of YAC) in the 4th when the Falcons go to the same defense that cost them the SB...

You're right though, Fox will use this to justify why he's keeping him in.

I'm honestly not sure who it was. But I'd like you to own up.

Who was it that said Cohen was a wasted pick?

Time to man up and say you were wrong or I'm going to go find and necro that post.

Could've been me. I was pretty pissed about taking a 5'6" running back from a school nobody ever heard of. Not sure though...

Let's not anoint him the next Gale Sayers just yet, but it sure as hell looks promising.

    - Glennon may be the most unathletic QB ever. It is almost painful to watch him move, looks like his knees don't bend. There is absolutey nothing he did today that Trubisky couldn't have done and there are plenty of things that Trubisky could have done that Glennon doesn't have the ability to do.

    - Can't have blown coverages, that is just embarassing. You have timeouts for a reason, f*cking use them.

    - Loggains did some good things but the majority of the credit for this game goes to Tarik Cohen. Without him, the Bears don't score 10 points in this game. He is the better receiver so having Howard in, instead of him on that last drive was inexcusable. This is an average defense. Hard to judge an OC when all you have is two RB's and a stork playing QB.

    - Back to Glennon, the sooner he sees the bench, the sooner this team will get better. If you are going to give him safe little checkdown throws, let the kid start. You have to take chances down the field to keep the defense honest,

Disappointing loss but not unexpected. Bears don't have any kind of error margin, especially against teams like this and unfortunately they made some big errors that cost them the game.

It played out very much like I thought the season would. Defense keeps us in games and a Glennon led offense struggles to score and move the ball.

    May have been you Bearman..

But someone (not sure who) said it was a wasted pick and he'd never be able to play in the NFL.

No one is anointing him anything Gale Sayers status. I am anointing him "nfl caliber player.".

He honestly, for most of the game until Fox pulled him on the last drive, was our offense. Atlanta had no answer.

He deserves to be in this league.

I want to add that our Oline was solid.

The way I remember it Mongo was the only one happy with picking Cohen.

I was actually happy with the draft overall.

    But really happy with Cohen.

One thing I was worried about was his ability to take an NFL hit.

He took 2 or 3 highlight hits today and bounced back up.

I hope he learns to start ducking.. But at the same time, him trying to stay on his feet is what makes him so good.

I was pissed he was pulled on the last drive.

I thought there were better RB's on the board at the time, but admittedly, I hadn't seen Cohen, prior. As soon as I saw him play in the preseason, I knew he was legitimate. I am still afraid of his longevity and health in the bigs, but my initial doubts have obviously been proven wrong.

I was way more upset about the Shaheen and Jackson picks than Cohen.

Yeah that was him but we all miss on one now and then and it has only been one game. The list of late round Safeties this last decade who ive thought could be the answer only for them to disappoint is as long as my johnson

Not sure i'd go that far. The fact they'd drafted so many RB's in consecutive drafts was noted. And i had reservations over Loggains ability to use Cohen(you could say the wildcat eased that heh). But that type of RB wasn't on the roster and if your gonna take a flyer on a player from a no name school in a no name division.... you can do it with like the 120th pick.

What you can't do is make that same kinda move with like the 40th pick. And especially after your previous pick isn't gonna see the field.

    Bingo.
