Nagy's been awful. O-line has been awful.

But Fields has shown nothing today. There's literally zero positives to take away from this game for him.

The only question is will we top (or maybe bottom) our 83 passing yards from last week?

No separation on any of those throws. Every throw is contested. And Browns DBs have been on the backs of Bears receivers all day before the ball is there.

Typical Bears bullshit football. This is the same offense I’ve been watching for my entire lifetime.

On the opposite side receivers are wide open.

Massive holding in the gut of that run.

Very dumb of the Browns keeping Wills out there at this point when he's been in and out all game.

I put very little of this on Fields. He missed one throw on that 2nd & inches that he should've made for a FD. But other than that, his WRs have run shitty routes all day, his OL cant block anybody and his play caller is a c_nt.

BWW is right, this needs a complete overhaul in the offseason or they will ruin this really talented prospect.

Think they can even muster up garbage time stats?

I'd like to say none of this is his fault, but he hasn't helped. On the drive where we got the FG due to the PI he first had Goodwin wide open downfield and decided to run instead. Then he had Mooney open for the TD and waited before chucking it and getting bailed out by the DPI. He's not seeing the field well.

But overall, yes, he's been a lamb led to the slaughter by Nagy and Pace.

The problem for me is that this is wash and repeat.

I put little of Rex Grossmans early struggles on him. Said it was the coach and team and stuff. Never him until it was clear it was him. Then I did it with Cutler. It’s not him. It’s the coach and the Oline and lack of receivers. Then fast forward and it’s clear it’s him. Gave Trubisky was room. Let him learn. It’s the coach…it’s the Oline. Then it’s him.

I realize Fields has more talent than that. But I can already see the day a couple years from now that we say it’s him and it’s time to find someone new.

Rinse and repeat with this franchise. Over and over. Meanwhile the QB on the opposite team, who I’m sorry isn’t all that good really, looks like a stud.

I said it the weekend he was drafted, and it hasn't changed: the ONLY thing that matters about this season is whether or not Justin Fields can survive Pace and Nagy. This is EXACTLY what I expected to see. I was just hoping we'd only get it for a few games, not starting in week 3...

Yeah totally hear you. To me it matters a lot the situation a QB goes into as to whether they will be successful, and the Bears has always been a dogshit situation for a QB. Thats why i said the day Fields was drafted, sorry kid.

The Bears have never had someone who can create an offense that creates that good situation for a QB. I honestly think the closest thing ive ever seen to that was Trestman, hilariously. The could've had the current SB winning HC but fucked that up when they insisted he do a fake PC as part of his job interview so he went to Tampa. This franchise is just fucked until the day its sold.

BTW i swear Fields was aware of this. Thats why when his name was called he looked like the waiter had just brought him a turd sandwich.

There are critical turning points for this franchise that we've talked about at length here. Mongo used to talk about the 2010 finale against the Packers as one of those.

The 3 game winning streak against garbage teams that we had at the end of 2020 set this franchise back years. It backed us into the playoffs, gave Nagy/Pace a resume that said 2 postseasons in 3 years, and led to a tremendous vote of confidence from Georgie. I said it then that those were the most devastating 3 wins we've had since we played ourselves out of the Peyton Manning sweepstakes at the end of the 97 season.

Ha! You call a screen now? With 3.30 left in a blowout. Hilarious.
