Bears send 7th round pick to Pats for N’Keal Harry

    This. I still think Harry has a shot in a new situation and a system that fits what he does well better. I went to a Pats camp practice last summer and he looked like the best player on the field to me. Basically had almost no practice time his first two years and for whatever reason McDaniels, who is generally one of the best there is at adjusting to what his personnel does well, just wasn’t able to figure out what to do with a WR who relies more on winning downfield than at the LOS like most Pats receivers. And by the time they were starting to open up the downfield throws a bit more for Mac as the season went on, he pretty much had his binkies - Bourne, Henry and Meyers.

    Sure he underperformed his draft status, especially looking at what the 2nd round guys from that draft have done, but IMO he had a lot of weird circumstances work against him, too.

    He’s a great kid, really pulling for him to work out with you guys even if it ends up being low-hanging fruit for the Bill haters.
