I attended our staff meeting today in my new Bears shirt, drinking from my Bears mug. My son went to school wearing his new, matching Bears shirt. It's out of dress code, but today is "50's day" - dress like it's the 1950's. I told him that if anyone asks, the Bears were playing football in the '50's, so that counts.

I will be watching tonight's game the same way I do every game - optimistic before, terrified during. Anxiety and Bears football go hand in hand, as far as I'm concerned. At least, whenever depression takes a break.
