Here's the difference between GMs and coaches that don't want to look bad and GMs and coaches that just care about winning games....

In 2012....the Seattle Seahawks signed Matt Flynn to a 3 year deal worth 20 million with 9 of that guaranteed....a really big contract at the time for a guy that was unproven but looked good as backup to Aaron Rodgers when he did play. The Seahawks also drafted Russell Wilson in the same offseason but said Flynn was signed to be the starter. However, in camp and preseason....Wilson flat out outplayed Flynn. So guess what? Russell Wilson was named the starter.

But not here in Chicago...no. We paid Glennon 18 million guaranteed and now we HAVE to play him. Never mind that he was outplayed in camp and preseason by a far more talented rookie. Never mind that he has shit the bed completely in four regular season games. He's our QB.

That is why teams like Seattle win games...and titles.....and teams like the Bears do not.

Wheaton asked if WRs are on same page as MG:

"Speaking for myself, I haven’t had a catch. So we obviously have got some stuff to work on."

I encourage you all to join me in avoiding watching this shit show until Fox/Pace decide to put the best team on the field each game. Right now the objective is not to win. The Pace/Fox agenda is disturbing, sinister and bordering on masochism. When the objective is to win football games, I'll be back. So far we've wasted 4 games offensively in which Trubs could be developing and giving us a better chance to win each one of them. How many more games must this regime waste?

BWW you said the fans have sent a message. The only way a message is sent is if no one shows up next Monday if Giraffe is still starting. That's it. Not one fucking fan should be there.

    Well said blang.

I think that's what needs to happen. To send an unequivocal message of disgust to the owners.

Team revenue is reportedly down. Fans will still show up....most showing empathy for some reason.

I'm beyond pissed off and frustrated.

The players will never respect this fool of a coach if he's not making obvious changes to make the team better.

I get that everyone wants to see Trubs. I do too. But not when we are down 3 TD's and Green Bay is looking to tee off on our prized draft pick.

Their back up got in for garbage time for a different reason - to protect their star QB from getting hurt. Big difference.

The time to play Trubisky is next week. 10 days to prepare, Glennon coming off an abysmal performance and team mates more or less calling him out.

Start the fucking guy against the Vikings and get on with it.

Jesus, that must be hard on an athlete. Sitting there with your hands tied by the people who hired you.

What defense isn't going to try to tee off him when he does eventually get to play?

I got to watch Jared McCann score a hat trick largely against Tampa's starters (backup goalie, but whatevs). A 6 year old kid happily threw his hat out onto the ice, instinctively, despite his mom's scolding. I bought him a new one, since I didn't have a hat to throw myself, and since he had more spirit about it than most of the adults in the arena.

Regular season starts in exactly one week. It can't come quickly enough. Glad I work through football weekends, as much as possible.

If hockey in South Florida is going to continue to thrive and flourish, the kids need to be encouraged to love it. When a kid immediately and instinctively throws his hat out onto the ice after a hat-trick from a young, hopefully impactful player, and then his mom has the nerve to scold him... that kid deserves a new hat. He did well. We all have a responsibility to make sure that Panthers hockey has the young fans it needs/deserves.

The Cubs have clinched the division twice since the last time the Bears won a road game.
