    He was only waived so he could be put back on the practice squad. Meaning Wheaton will most likely play against Pitt. The Eagles tried to poach DeAndre Huston-Carson from PS so they had to move him to 53.

    Why not keep him on the active roster, even with Wheaton ready to go given how bad the position is? He's shown more than McBride. Ironically Fox was just saying something about needing more than 2 games to evaluate someone.
