We are switching to a $25/keeper league this year, and Mongo is putting up Bears playoff tix to the winner (in the unlikely event the Bears make playoffs)

 

Shit, guess I should have read further into it. To be honest don't want to commit to a long term league at this time. Sorry man.

Lets keep league at 10. 12 gets way too thin. Especially at key positions like RB

 

Just to be clear, I'm putting up 2 first game Bears playoff tix up (whatever round that is (wildcard, etc..).

Winner has to use the tix. They can't sell them or give them away.

Winner has to be a Bears fan.

Winner has to buy me at least 2 Beers at the game.

Given how much trouble I’m having finding two more, I was already thinking about this. But, I run a very flexible playing option league, in which 2 RB are not required, only 1 is. I switched 10 years ago, given how far the running back position has fallen in the last 20 years, it was very hard to force everyone to play 2RB. In my main league people often run 11 personal with 3WR.

And... I like having the talent pool being somewhat thin. I’ve been in 10 team leagues and it’s such a talent rich environment, and everyone’s teams are just full of studs, that winners seem to just be the luckier ones rather than due to any real skill at FFB.

That said, I’m giving it until Wed to find 2 more, and then switching it to a 10 team and scheduling the draft.

 

Brother, when I win and the Bears surprise us all, I’ll buy anything you want there. I don’t think there’s a concession stand for hookers though.

Today was my deadline for filling a 12 team league, was still hoping to fill those last two spots. Doesn’t appear to be headed that way, though... so when I get home tonight I have to rearrange the divisions and the schedule, probably adjust some league settings because of having fewer teams, and I’ll roll the draft order and schedule the draft
