My YTD is 106-54. Original picks were Oakland /Green Bay. New Super Bowl Pick is Philadelphia for the Packers -10 pts New YTD= 96-64.


Now then, about my Super Bowl picks. I had the Packers and the Raiders. Those 2 aren't going anywhere. But I'm only going to change 1. On the AFC side?? We have the Steelers or the Pats. Everybody that's just ahead or behind me in the standings has one of those 2 teams already. If I pick either one of those 2 teams and win the SB, I'll only end up with a net 30 points while these other people will get a net 40. There's no way I can make up those 10-12 games in the remaining 6 weeks. So the AFC is out.

The NFC is where my salvation lies. We have the Rams/Vikings/Saints/Eagles.
The Rams don't have that BIG game experiance. We saw that last Sunday against the Vikings.

Vikings ?? Great Defense, but not enough offensive firepower to match the Saints or Eagles.

That leaves 2 teams. I see both the Saints and Eagles in the NFCCG. But I don't see the Saints wrestling home field away from the Eagles. And as much as I would love to take the Saints here, I don't see the Saints winning that game. The Saints, on the road, outside, in the cold, in Philly, in February. That's not going to work. I gotta go with the Eagles. Yes Catfish !!!! YOUR EAGLES.

SB: sticking with Steelers over Seahawks even though i think the injuries to seahawks secondary have doomed them. Just an fyi if i were tochange i would not be jumping on the eagles bandwagon like so many others.

We only differ on 2 picks this week, I have the Lions and the Texans.

That's what I see, these two teams as #1 and #2 seeds. I like the Saints chances in the Dome if they can get it. Otherwise, they can paint the Eagles logo on their practice field again.
I can't forget the Vikings, they'll be going after one of the top seeds also. If the Saints have to go on the road, I'd rather they'd be going to Minnesota than to Philly. BTW, the SB 52 venue is at Minny.

They've won once in the playoffs, on the road, outside in the cold. It could happen again.
Since this coming Super Bowl is scheduled on February 4th, the NFCCG would be a couple weeks before, in January.
