I saw that you guys were talking about the Herschel Walker deal that happened years ago. I doubt we'll see anything like that again. But it's going to be fascinating to see what happens in Philly over the next couple of months.

SoCal - cause nothing but problems ?? I'd rather be the Eagles with their QBs issue than a team that needs a QB like Cleveland or NY ? It's a great thing to have 2 capable QBs to take the helm and be reigning Super Bowl Champs. Now I don't think they get as much for Foles as SI's Peter King thinks with 2 first rd draft picks, but anything high is better than nothing.

 

wait a minute. they were on their OWN 20, not the Eagles 20. They still have to drive 80 yards downfield and score. The Eagles had all 3 timeouts left. When does NE score? Does Philly have any time left to score on their own ? I don't chalk up the Pats win on that play. NE got the ball back and drove to the 45 yr line and needed a Hail Mary to tie. You can't assume they would've drove down the entire length of the field without another turnover or stoppage on downs.

 

Even though he has not taken them to the SB the Chargers dont regret the move as much as the Dolphins who looked at Brees then passed on him to sign Daunte Culpepper whoops

 

Batch was 31 and Ben was 23 If Foles were 31 the conversation might be different. It is also worth mentioning Batch didnt have a 27 and 2 season under his belt.

 

I said after to forget about Batch. Put current Foles in that situation. You are saying to forget about Ben and go with Foles. Ben is a HOF that won another SB. Wentz situation mirrors Ben there if that happened.

 

Id role into the next season with Foles as my starter.

gotta see how Wentz's knee holds up. sorry Joe but even as a Eagles fan, I just don't give the reigns back to Carson immediately. His knee and mobility better be 100% bf he gets the job back. Any slowness in him or setback in the recovery makes me go with Foles opening night.
