I won't be anywhere near a football field today because I am celebrating Thanksgiving with some of my family today. That's why I can't be helpful ... I'll be tied to the kitchen in my apron all day when I'm not running outside to help stack wood. We (My husband and I) are quite clever you see ... we invited our daughter and her partner, a couple of other family who are drifting this year and we will present them with 4.5 bush cord of wood to move and stack. It's a great way to create a ferocious appetite

That's why we have 3 football games on our Thanksgiving. So we don't have to participate in that kind of madness. And if you have a minute, grab a camera and take a pictire of your wood pile and post it here. I think there are some people here that have NO idea of just how much wood that is.

Yes. And if your the guy cutting and splitting all that, it seems endless. The most I ever had at one time was a cord and a half. And that was oak. Tougher to work with than pine. But it burns sooooo nice.

You got that right and Oak produces very little smoke.......I love burning Cherry Wood.....it burns forever SCS.

 

Orange wood too. Only if you can find someone with a bunch of dead orange trees.

And walnut ?? Nothing is better than that !!!!
