sorry but yes it is. Philadelphia Flyers lost the Stanley Cup in OT in game 6 of the 1980 Cup Finals when the Islanders were off-sides. The refs missed it, Bobby Nystrom scored to win the Cup and the refs skated off the ice.

 

The bigger point is that we need instant replay on penalties calls/non calls.

 

And catfish, you say teams have to overcome this, but the Steelers had 14 free points given to the chargers in a game that they lost by three. I don’t know many teams that can make up 14 points against a quality opponent.

 

I'm not sure local bookies here can take bets on NFL games, at least publicly. But I'd guess some of them are Saints fans
