So those are the away teams Lyman?

  2. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

Chargers, Texans and Browns were all road teams. They all won.

(Road team and Away team means the same thing.)

According to the odds makers, this is not the week to pick road teams. But hey. Your 3-0 and I'm not.

  7. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

    Actually, I'm 2-1.

I did have time to pick the Chiefs. :rake:

    Seems that way....
Of the early games played today, 7 out of 9 road teams are losing.

From where I sit right now, Bears and Saints are the two best teams in the NFC.

If I remember right, the Bears intensity went up several notches in that game once Reggie Bush made Brian Urlacher angry

The Texans are the #2 seed now ??? What's happening over there in the AFC ????

Didn't somebody have the wrong cleats on in that game and got benched for it ???

Just my opinion, but it appears to be a combination of two major factors:
    • Pete Rozelle's formula for league parody is finally taking hold. The protocol for establishing draft pick order added to more GM's on teams that can take advantage of it are equalizing the talent amongst teams league wide.
    • The traditional contending teams are getting older and the gap between them and weaker teams is narrowing.
The same thing is happening in the NFC but to a lesser extent.

No, that was Super Bowl 44 against the Colts. Mike Bell had the wrong shoes on and slipped during one of the downs of a goal line stand. Payton got rid of him not long after that game.
