I don't care for DHB this week. Jennings and Stills both have solid match-ups as Dallas and the Jets are both in the bottom 10 against receivers. I would go with Stills since has beet hot lately and Jennings has been so inconsistent in Minnesota this year. Stills can have a solid fantasy day off of one reception where Jennings wil have to work harder for his.

Brees is too good to sit especially with a match-up like the Jets. Rivers has a a great match-up too but it is not good enough for me to sit Brees for him.

  3. Brees. I really don't play the matchup game with my studs, I plug them in every week and don't even think about it. I play the matchups with guys I don't trust.

Ginn, imo, based mostly on how involved he is (a lot more than McCluster, and LaFell), and it's been a productive offense lately (unlike Oakland and the Jets)

Should I pick up Kenny Stills or Kendell Wright for this week?

    Colston inactive today.

I ended up going with the majority here and started Brees over Rivers. For the first half of the games, it seemed like a solid choice. By the end, they both finished with 22 points. Those turnovers were killer for Brees, and the Jets defense stepped up big like I figured they would. Looks like it didn't matter either way.

  7. Being the only one that said start Rivers, I feel vindicated. If you had taken my advice, you would not have been wrong. :)

All depends on your league I suppose. Every league I'm in Brees outscored Rivers. Granted in a few the difference was very very small but when the object is to score the most points then Brees was the correct call.

  9. In ours, they tied.

It's funny because earlier in the season, I had a similar situation and ended up sitting Brees for Rivers. They both finished with the same point totals that week as well (or within a point of each other). It does seem like the general safe play is to always play your general starters that you draft.

Unless you were like me and drafted Trent Richardson. Then you have a 1st round pick just chilling on your bench...

    First round pick: Doug Martin
    second round pick: Julio Jones
    Third round pick: David Wilson

    Bang-bang-bang! Dead as Julius Caesar.

    Just a couple of questions:
    Ryan Matthews vs Denver or
    Rashard Jennings @ NYG

    Can start 1
    TY Hilton vs STL
    Harry Douglas vs Seattle
    Ray Rice vs Cincy

Hilton is my fave of the bunch. I find it hard to ever start Matthews. Jennings seems pretty solid this week.

I still can't believe I started RG3 over Manning this week but hey he got 30 points.

here is all you need to know about Jennings if you start him he sucks if you have him on your bench he goes off. Such has been his history any time he is the main guy.

  15. I like Jennings a bit more because I really see SD/Denv turning into a airshow and the G-men have been terrible in run D.

At this point, I think I'd bench Rice for the rest of the season unless he starts to do something/anything, and I LOVE Hilton's upside now that Wayne is out for the year. Douglas is a non-starter, almost any WR vs Seattle is a non-starter.

Just trying to salvage a little pride on the season . . .

    Andrew Luck vs the Titans
    -or-
    Case Keenum vs the Raiders

    ???

I would say Keenum. He has been solid thusfar.

  18. I just need to remember that I have a team and do my roster for the week. Leaving in bye week players and defenses going against the Saints is no formula for success.

It is hard to sit Luck for Keenum but I would this week. The Titans are very good against quarterbacks (228 PYPG, 8 tot TDs) and Oakland is not very good (266 PYPG, 19 to TDs). If it is me, it is a very close decision because of the pure skill factor of Luck but I would lean towards Keenum.

For this week, I think I need 2 WRs - Torrey Smith, Alshon Jeffrey, or Keenan Allen. Other options are Dwayne Bowe, Eric Decker, and Anquan Boldin.

Right now I have Torrey and Alshon, but I wonder if Keenan should replace Torrey?
