  1. Bernard for SURE, & not Hartline....so flip a coin between T.E.s 8)

  2. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

Not certain about Witten's health (I think he's good to go) but, unlike Weed-Be-Gone and Hoyer, Cameron doesn't appear to be Jason Campbell's favorite target. I would probably go with Witten.

Of course, now that I said that, Cameron will probably explode. :|

  3. I'd play Bernard and... Witten has been very solid at home this year, on the road he stinks, and the CowGirls are at home. Minny and Balt. both give up a solid amount of production to TEs. Cameron has been solid to studly no matter who the QB is. Even with Campbell, he had 81 yards last week, and that was after just one week of Campbell practicing with the starters. I'd lean Cameron, but I wouldn't lose any sleep playing Witten either.

Just completed a Fire Sale with my sucky team and am in the middle of the biggest bye week impact of the season.

    Start @ QB;
    Andrew Luck vs Houston
    -or-
    Alex Smith vs Buffalo

    Start @ WR;
    Emanuel Sanders vs New England
    -or-
    Darrius Heyward-Bey vs Houston

Houston has a good passing defense. How has Smith been doing this year?

I picked up Hey-Bey in a couple leagues. The "experts" don't think he is that good. I might wait to see how he does this weekend before I put him in the starting lineup. I think he will be a decent WR.

  6. Both QBs are solid plays, imo. In years past, I would have said Sanders, thinking that NE would score a ton and Ben would have to air it out to catch up, but that just isn't true this year. I guess I'd lean towards DHB, with Reggie being out, his targets are going to go up quite a bit, I would think.

I also picked up Coby Fleener off of waivers (needed a tight end due to the Fire Sale). So, I'm thinking of going with Luck. If either or both DHB or Fleener score . . . its a double dip.

I might have to pick up a WR this week off waivers. Someone claimed Marvin Jones earlier this week so my options would be Kenny Stills or Heyward-Bey. Are either worth starting this week? HB didn't practice on Friday. If I don't pick anyone up I have to start Greg Jennings.

Kenny Stills might be the better option considering his last 2 games. Unfortunately though, I don't trust any WRs for the Saints to produce on a regular basis.

  10. Even Colston and Sproles haven't been all that this year... Brees is locked into Graham.

    Tough choice for me:

    Drew Brees @ Jets

    or

    Philip Rivers @ Washington

I know the Jets got waxed by the Bengals and Drew Brees was a monster last week (while I was on a bye), but I believe Rex focuses on the pass all week of practice. Teams typically bounce back from being humiliated. On the flip side, Washington has just been such a bad defense all year, and I kind of expect a shootout.

You're right. I thought Lance Moore was going to have another good year.

  13. i WOULD RIDE OR DIE with Breezy no brainer.....from what ive heard the jets arent happy with rookie c.b dee milner...that basically leaver Cromartie to cover all those WEAPONS....I got Saints winning by 21pts

Brees is a must start every week

Need to pick up a WR this week thanks to 4 of mine being on a a bye (happened as I made pick up and forgot to check byres) luckily Justin Blackman has volunteered to be cut question is who do I pick up of the following
    • Ted Gin Jr
      Dexter McCluster
      Rod Streater
      Brandon LaFell
      Jeremy Kerley[/*]

They will only be starting one week for me as my other WRs are Josh Gordon, Larry Fitzgereld, Calvin Johnson, and Ruben Randell.

I actually like Kerley out of this group. He has actually been pretty good considering who is around him.

  17. I'd start Rivers in a heartbeat. The Skins defense is a dumpster fire and The Saints are out of the dome.

I agree with this, unless you have a league that gives a 2x bonus for RBs that score receiving TDs. Then, and only then, I would go with McCluster in the hopes of getting the bonus.

It is a tough sale based on name sake but I think I would go with Smith here. Houston allows only 158 passing yards per game and 1.4 pass TD/gm to quarterbacks compared to Buffalo allowing 285/2.4 in the same categories. Luck is the better player but Smith has a bunch of potential against the Bills.

Heyward-Bey is questionable for this match-up and the Texans are the best against wide receivers so I would go with Sanders since he has a slightly better match-up and has done well as of late.

  20. Jason!!! Always nice to see you participating in the posting process. Keep it up and we will get that post count over 100! :)
