So far my Bortles suggestion looks best. lol

Glennon looks like best pick now. And Bortles had his TD taken away. Play called a rush.

I didn't expect this. Cleveland was up by 4 TDs so Hoyer quit throwing the ball. TB was down big and threw the ball 40 times.

It's so funny how fantasy football is different from the game. At halftime, Glennon had something like a 4 QB rating. Since the Ravens were up 38-0 and smacking him around every pass, they stopped bringing the heat in the second half which makes it seem like he had an effective game (and a better fantasy game).

    Brian Hoyer-14 points
    Geno Smith-17 points
    Derek Carr-29 points
    Mike Glennon-27 points
    Blake Bortles-27 points

    Carson Palmer-20 points

I made the worst decision out of all the possible options and picked up Hoyer. That is the luck I have with fantasy football.

    Who said Bortles..... :)

  7. I went with Smith And Hester. Still won by almost fifty points. Welker did nothing.

I'll probably end up deciding on my own but right now I am stumped on who to start in my leagues. I keep going back and forth.

In the one I need to decide on my flex spot between: Jonathan Stewart, Mike Wallace, Kelvin Benjamin, Wes Welker and Pierre Garcon since Jennings is injured. I'm leaning on one of the first 3 but as for Stewart I don't know how many touches he'll get coming back from injury.

In the other I've got the same situation and need to decide on a flex between: Jonathan Stewart, Wes Welker, DeAndre Hopkins, C.J. Spiller and Larry Donnell. Here I am actually tempted to roll the Dice on a 2nd TE but that would be a big gamble. Leaning on a healthy Stewart here but I don't know.

First one it would come down to Wallace and Benjamin for me. Like you said, it is hard to tell what Stewart is going to do coming back from injury. If Benjamin was fully healthy I would roll that way but Wallace seems like the safest option because of Benjamin's health woes.

For the other one I would probably go with Hopkins personally. Donnell has a great matchup but which Giants offense shows up this week? That team is like Jekyll and Hyde. Just when you think that offense was back on track they lay an egg against the Eagles last week.

I'd go with Benjamin and Hopkins

Good luck. I just let the numbers dictate what I should do this week in the l4sn league and went with a double tightend team because the TE's were averaging more (at least a point better) than anyone on my bench or that i could snag off the wire. I felt uncomfortable doing it. I just hope the numbers and projections hold up... that and im hoping for a little luck.

I think I'll re-check the wire and make sure i didnt over look anybody.

    scenario 1: Wallace

scenario 2: Donnell. the Giants are on/off, on/off and its time for them to be on again.

I have been reading this thread for a couple weeks. Good stuff and good advice. Is there any advantage in grabbing any receiver off of San Fran or are they all full of fucking Rice-A-Roni?

If you have any questions or need any assistance be sure to let one of us know and we will help you out as quickly as possible.

    Now, for your fantasy question.

For starters, it depends on your league but if you are in a TD based on then taking a flyer on Steve Johnson (if you have the bench space) might not be a bad option. Jason will be on later today to put his 2 cents in.

I was looking at Johnson which is why I asked. Thanks.

What about SEA? I need to get some WR help but the pickings are slim.

I advocated taking Kearse as a late round flier pre-draft and his value definitely went up with the Harvin trade.

Again though, his value probably lies in the red-zone mostly.

    Welcome to the board Ike!

The 49ers WRs are going to cause headaches the rest of the way. They have a lot of talent at the position along with Davis at TE and Kaepernick is not really playing favorites. Boldin and Crabtree are still worth owning in just about every league but Johnson and Lloyd it depends on the format IMO. Like Tim said, there could be some value with Johnson in TD leagues. Even Crabtree is getting tougher and tougher to keep on a roster though with how the ball is being spread around in SF.

Baldwin is the guy that everyone should grab out of the Seattle receivers. He has the best track record and has always been behind more touted talent in SEA like Rice, Harvin and Tate. Kearse has some value in TD leagues. He could grow value as the season progresses but for now it is limited. Richardson has some upside as well and could become a decent option in upcoming weeks.

    Thanks for the insight.

Baldwin and Crabtree are both gone.

Eddie Royal just hit the wire. Is there any value left in him this season?

  19. LAOJoe Assistant Coach Manager Patreon Silver Maple Leafs Eagles

He is likely gone but if your league has him listed as rb/wr then Denard Robinson is a good pick up. I grabbed him in both our leagues here. In the one I feel crazy as I picked up two Jags on back to back weeks on waivers. The other being Shorts.

Royal still has some value but like the SF receivers, the SD receivers will be streaky too. Allen, Gates, Floyd, and Royal all get a piece of the pie in San Diego. Royal will have some solid games but he will also have some games like last week where he disappears from the offense. He can still definitely be used in fluffier matchups and against teams he has a good track record with.
