Take care of business against the Panthers and the Giants, and that Packers game could turn out to be real important. But, I know, its one game at a time...just looking forward to the Green Bay game.
Kind of a QB controversy since Ponder suffered an injury. Its probably still his job to lose, but I dont think he loses it to an injury, unless its still persisting. Should have plenty of time to heal with the bye week and all.
with Cassel all of a sudden Musgrave opened up the playbook,Cassel made some nice passes but to go back to this dink and dunk and fumbles Int's pick sixes Ponder is not a very accurate passer....Cassel is not the answer but he's better than Ponder right now,it just seems like the players don't believe in him IMO
Frazier really bugs me...this Vikings team should be playing much better football on both sides of the ball.
Just hope they find a way for Cordarrelle Patterson to be more involved in the Offense, hoping he's the playmaker the Vikings need....like you said NFC Special Teams Player of the Month...Good for him *THUMBSUP*
yep that's real safe bet!....i want Green Bay to win cause the Lions look like there the team to beat in the NFC North, Packers i'm not sure about the Bears just scary good or scary bad,Vikings could be really good it kinda depends on how the Quarterback plays.....Just luv this edit button!!!!!
Vikings go for it can't lose here i don't think he be would be asking for the big bucks,he is an upgrade over Ponder and Cassel..c'mon Frazier go for it why not try it
Josh Freeman to sign with the Vikings could be a good thing, only time will tell if it was a good deal or a waste of time
Josh Freeman is a Viking. I like the move. May as well give him a try and see what happens. At 1-3, in a tight division, they still have a shot, and they might as well try something different. He's signing set the Vikings back $3 million, while the Vikes were just 2.5 under the cap. Roster moves too be made, I guess. Your right Badd_man, only time will tell. Sometimes a move like this could be just the spark the offense needed. I get the feeling Ponder is either injured worse than I thought, or their finally running out of patience or both. Freeman has toasted the Vikings on a couple of occations, so I hope that translates into something positive for this team, a team who hasnt had much success with QB's lately, or drafting them at least.
please let it be Matt Cassel for this game,Ponder is no longer safe with the signing of Josh Freeman it's just weird how this worked out?
Im leaning towards Casel myself, but its tough to figure what Frazier might do. Just hope they can get the W, that would be a huge victory as far as the division goes.
Freeman seems to be a guy who responds to his surroundings by influence, as in, if he likes what's going on, he's a stud. If he doesn't, he isn't. If your coaches can light his fire, you got a good QB. I watched him torch a lot of teams the past few years (including my Saints) but he just didn't seem to respond to the new staff in Tampa. I hope your coaches can get him to respond to them in a positive manner. I really like Ponder, but I think it's safe to say if he doesn't have it by now, it isn't coming. As far as Cassel goes, he backed Tom Brady really really well (11-5 season I think) and then struck out in KC... along with every other player there. Cassel should be your starter until Freeman learns the offensive chemistry. Ponder will be starting in Jacksonville by week 9. (I don't really believe that, but thought I'd be a smart arse).
