It's wide receiver time again: Vikings need playmaker in NFL Draft EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Every few years, the Minnesota Vikings have returned to the well in the first round of the NFL draft, seeking the type of game-breaking wide receiver that Randy Moss once was. Next weekend, they could be back. "If there's a good one there when we're ready to pick, then I have no problem taking a wide receiver," coach Mike Zimmer said. "The more playmakers you get, the better chance you have of increasing big plays." The Vikings are still searching for that dynamic player at this high-profile, sometimes-perplexing position they've missed since Moss first departed by trade more than a decade ago. will the Vikings pick Micheal Thompson wr of Ohio while he's no Randy Moss..he's a tough and damn good wr as good as Treadwell and his hands are i just wonder can he fit with the Vikings speedy and quick wr ?
The fellas that do the mock draft predictions are going between Doctson and Treadwell, but a few are targeting Thompson. I think any of the 3 would be good targets for Teddy... I hope they turn out as exciting as Stephon Diggs was last year, lol. How sweet would that be?
