I always liked Carlos. Seen him a bunch with Ohio State.

Looking for a much better executed game against the Lions. Curious to see how they adjust and if AP can break out.

The Vikings have some pretty good wideouts..the Vikings Defense is really good in the up coming draft i hope they draft O-lineman cause the back up O-lineman got exposed, just hoping this O-line gels and comes together cause at times they do really good and REALLY BAD....they are a good Football Team

Vikings deal Hodges to 49ers for rookie center, draft pick

EDEN PRAIRIE -- The Minnesota Vikings have traded linebacker Gerald Hodges to the San Francisco 49ers for rookie center Nick Easton and a sixth-round draft pick.
Vikings general manager Rick Spielman announced the deal Tuesday.

Hodges, a backup outside linebacker in Minnesota's 4-3 scheme his first two seasons, was the starter this season at middle linebacker in the base defense. Rookie Eric Kendricks replaced him in the nickel package, though. Kendricks has developed enough that the Vikings considered Hodges expendable at a position of depth.

The Vikings traded a sixth-round pick for guard Jeremiah Sirles, so they got one back.
Easton was acquired by the 49ers in a deal with the Baltimore Ravens last month. He was undrafted out of Harvard.

I was over at NFL.com I just read that Gerald Hodges got traded for center Nick Easton and a draft pick..how long will it to get him into the game I think its a good trade cause the Vikings are pretty deep at LB and they need some help on the O-line, to me its amazing there trying to do something Maybe the game against the Broncos woke up Ricky and the front office to do something

I like the move. It shows they will pull the trigger on getting some help up front.

I hate this early bye week stuff. I wish it were later in the season.

yeah the bye came early just when it started then the bye its tough

Blair Walsh looks like he's fixed things.

  17. Badd_Man1 M.V.P. Vikings

i hope so no more of this hit and miss..it would be nice if Blair Walsh can be counted on,i don't understand something why could Bill Musgrave work CP into the game plan but somehow Norv Turner can't...time to redo the O-line its long overdo GO VIKINGS

  18. Willie Head Coach Manager News & Notes Vikings

I think the problem right now with CP is that Sheryl's is on the team. He's pretty good, lol.

CP did get a couple kick returns and looked pretty good... I like the competition between to young speedsters.

The O-line is still the 'Make Me Nervous Line'. Teddy looks like he's getting rid of the ball quicker, but man he made some mistakes on 3rd and long. He has got to get rid of the ball and quit getting sacked when all he has to do is throw it away. That was driving me nuts against the Lions. Cant lose the yardage that way.

QB still developing, make shift O-line = Gray Hairs for me. :)

  19. Badd_Man1 M.V.P. Vikings

yeah the Gray Hairs turning to white fast its a family thing lol,Teddy does hold on to the ball to long at times...the O-line is a glaring weak spot but you never know the O-line just might gel HOPE SPRING ETERNAL
