Randy Moss he was a bad MF the speed and his hands.....he was something else when he played for the Vikings and Patriots
As a Bears fan I think Purple is really pink, just a lot of layers. A lot of little girly pink layers. Layer after layer of pink until there is so much estrogen it turns a bit darker and voila, you have purple. A whole bunch of Nordic women in helmets wearing layer after layer of pink. Of course this is pure jealousy talking because the Bears are in full blown SUCK mode and I am watching the Viqueens build a real team in the same damn division as my fluffy, cuddly, teddy bears. So unless you trade us Bridgewater for Cutler straight up, I must say fuck you to the Vikings. Nice to meet you. See you again soon...
Excellent... thanks for dropping by. I look forward to seeing those two teams take care of it on the field.
Don't mention it. I may come off like a large type asshole but the reality is that I am a large type asshole.
Vikings are going to be a great football team. They have one of the toughest schedules and i like that, because their winning season will definitely be authenticated.
i thought the pink layers turning into purple was funny, the Bears looks like they finally got them a good HC in Jon Fox will he work out or will he be a bust
Did you read about Josh Robinson..i hope that's it for injuries gives the other defensive back a chance to see who wants the job?
Sure did. I dont know how bad it actually is (torn pectoral), but i have been monitoring the situation. I think from reading between the lines he will be good to go, but i'll wait for conclusive evidence given by doctors and the like.
The Vikings could be very good this year...with a few breaks here and there its all on the D. to play OUTSTANDING,and the O-line coming together and playing like a unit enough of this individual crap, why o why are they always messing around with team uniforms the only team that should change is the Chargers back to the powder blue it looks so cool IMO
I agree with this. Every year I fin myself zeroing in on a couple teams more so than the rest of the league. Right now Minnesota has a lot of my attention for a couple reasons. The first one is that I had Bridgewater going to them at the top of the second round and I was not surprised when they moved back into the first to get him and lock him up for the extra season. I likened him to 'Chad Pennington with wheels' and a lot of people took that as a knock but it was actually a compliment. I think Teddy is a very heady guy that can make up for mistakes and any physical deficiencies in arm strength by playing smarter than the other guy. The second is Anthony Barr. He was my favorite defensive player in his draft class and the draft class prior. Finally, it's the way they are starting to shape this team and the timing that they are doing it in within the NFC North. I believe the Vikings are setting themselves up to be a dominant force in the North for a long stretch of time.
You guy's post's are a breath of fresh air and i havnt heard positive Vikings talk in forever. You both bring up key issues and players, players for the first time can actually back things up on the field. The Vikings are becoming multi-dimensional instead of the ol' run Peterson ask question's later, kinda team. It starts at the top and Minnesota did well with Zimmer and Turner. They are getting this football team on the same page. Tim, you touched on the timing of things and i feel kinda lucky in that aspect too. The bears have come down to Earth a bit and the Packers have been floating ever so slowly but consistently downward, imo... I'm not sure about the Lions, which might be a huge mistake this year if people take that passing game lightly, but it seams like its about time for something good to come out of Minnesota this season. I always start getting rev'd up this time of year for the Vikings and Buckeye's. Im starting to feel that real confidence with the Vikings, not that insecure false sense of hope stuff like i normally get lately, but the genuine kind that looks, acts and feels real. (please dont let me be charlie brown kicking the football again this year)
By Chris Wesseling, NFL.com... The Minnesota Vikings are a trendy offseason pick to make the playoffs in Teddy Bridgewater's second season. Bridgewater closed out his 2014 Pepsi NFL Rookie Of The Year campaign as Pro Football Focus' top-ranked quarterback for December, a motivated Adrian Peterson is taking aim at the rushing crown, Mike Wallace is onboard as a deep threat and the defense is loaded with young Pro Bowl-caliber talents. Although Bridgewater is optimistic about the Vikings' chances, he refuses to get drunk on the hype. "Right now, we're not as good as what we think," Bridgewater said, via USA Today's Tom Pelissero. "We know that the ceiling is very high and the expectation level is very high -- not only for the players, but from a coaching staff also. We know what's being asked of us, but we have a long way to go." We're not ready to hand the NFC North to the Vikings, but it's the presence of Bridgewater that has us excited for Minnesota this season. Coach Mike Zimmer saw enough promise in the former Louisville star to hand him the keys to the franchise by early December. Bridgewater showed supreme accuracy, touch and pocket presence the rest of the way, completing 72.1 percent of his passes over the final five games. If that strong quarterback play carries over to 2015, the Vikings will be playoff contenders.
wow Teddy Bridgewater is like Chad Pennington he never had the strongest arm but he was a accurate passer,Teddy does not have a strong arm but a very accurate passer...I think sometimes having a strong arm is made to much of ( T-Jack had a strong arm but was not an accurate passer! )
i know it's popular to diss the guy, but namath had ridiculous arm strength. i don't remember how accurate he was.
