Kevin White and Jeremy Langford are John Fox type of players, the more and more i look at the Vikings draft and the players they got in FA and last year draft it's looking pretty good in my opinion....the Vikings draft is real nice
I think they did very well. Cant wait to get the show on the road. Seeing Bridgewater with Peterson in the backfield should be fun.
Ha, yeah, that's about the most you'll get out of me I respect what the Vikings are doing with their personnel a lot. I just wish they weren't doing it The Bears came away with what I think and hope are quality players. I just think that most fans, including myself, were a bit perplexed by how they've managed personnel thus far. I think it's safe to say that this team is looking beyond next season more than they are at it, which is tough to deal with. But I do believe that what they've done is a solid step towards the future. But I don't know what to make of the Jeremy Langford pick. Thought we had RB pretty well sorted out. Ah, well. All this talk will change and have a lot more to it once they start playing football. Can we get that underway already?
AP was missed last year Teddy really missed him it should be interesting having him in the backfield,i believe AP will take alot of PRESSURE off Teddy
wow i watched Tom Brady to see what he had to say....it was a whole lot of nothing about deflategate,i just want to see what the NFL will do will they bring down the hammer or treat him with kid gloves????
Im just guessing, but maybe he gets a game or two and a fine. I dont think the NFL has much of a choice in this matter.
Brady will appeal the 4 games i hope NFL will stay firm, losing a first round draft pick next year and a forth pick the year after is rough, and they will be fined a million dollars.....the Pats acting like there better than everybody else we will see how this plays out
The arrogance of the Pats is just amazing,if the Pats would have talked about it....this cover so called up just made it worse this didn't have to happen there reply to the wells report it just leaves me saying WTF the deflater and something about weight loss lol
Vikings Plan to Keep Pruitt's Hands Full EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. ? It?s a good thing that MyCole Pruitt has hands that measured 10 ? inches. The Vikings plan to give him a lot to handle. Minnesota drafted Pruitt in fifth round with the 143rd overall pick, and within a week had him working multiple roles in the offense during their rookie minicamp. ?I?m learning two different positions, and it?s basically being mentally tough and being able to handle the load that he?s going to put on me,? Pruitt told former Vikings linebacker and analyst Ben Leber Sunday after the minicamp wrapped up. Pruitt?s stats at Southern Illinois placed him as the Missouri Valley Football Conference leader in career receptions (211), receiving yards (2,601) and touchdown catches (25) by a tight end. He looked smooth and fluid running routes in Friday?s practice that was open to media and told reporters after that he also takes pride in blocking. ?Whatever was asked of me, I was able to do that,? Pruitt said. ?We had a great running back, Malcolm Agnew, down there at Southern Illinois, and our run game was strong, so blocking was definitely part of our game out there.? As for the transition to pros, Pruitt said the debut practices were up-tempo. ?I would just say while you?re in the drill the pace is a lot faster,? Pruitt said. ?They want you sprinting through everything. You can?t take a play off at all. That?s just the mindset I?ve got to have and the way I?m going to go from here on out.?
again sorry about my bad posting ( excuse here ) i was sleepy,i don't know to much about him have to check this guy out this MyCole Pruitt after reading what you posted looks like a sleeper..the hands are huge
Yep, he was their 5th rounder during the draft. They must have liked what they saw of him. Check out Vikings.com. They have a few things there about the draftee's. It's a good web-site.
By the way. Your posting is just fine. I understand and appreciate you being around or there would probably not be a Vikings thread.
i have read somethings on Mycole ( sounds alot like Michael ) Pruitt in the Star and Tribune and Vikings.com he was a pretty good player at Southern Illinois, have High Hopes Norv seems have some kinda magic when it comes to the TE,it looks the Vikings have plans for him....i had no idea Southern Illinois was ricky alms mater i really like he's a good blocker anything that help's the O-line is a good thing
hey AP needs to fire his agent Ben Dogra ( sp ) cause he keeps talking AP has not come out and said he wants more money...how much more money do you need?..already getting paid the BIG BUCKS!!!
With the first round of the NFL draft over and Adrian Peterson still in Minnesota, the running back's agent, Ben Dogra, is swiftly changing gears. After months of insisting that it was best for Peterson to be traded from the Vikings, Dogra told USA Today's Tom Pelissero he understands his client will remain in Minnesota, but didn't give up the fight for Peterson to get something in return. "One of the things that I appreciate with the Vikings is their resolve to say 'we're not trading him,'" Dogra told Pelissero. "That tells me they value him not only as a football player, but what he's done for the organization. "I actually, as an agent, not only appreciate it -- I accept it. But actions speak louder than words. If that's going to happen, and you want to keep him, then show him a commitment to make him retire as a Viking. And I haven't had that solution." Dogra's public strategy is clearly moving from "trade him" to "pay him." With all the leverage, it remains to be seen whether the Vikings will decide to extend an olive branch to pacify their best player. Peterson has been absent from the Vikings' voluntary workouts -- the norm for the running back -- and Dogra declined to say if his client would attend May OTAs. "That's Adrian's decision," Dogra said. "He's a grown man. He's got strong principles. He's endured a lot. It's when he feels that true commitment. Adrian's a very passionate person, very transparent. It's when he feels it's right."(NFL.com)
what does Dogra mean by commitment AP is already getting paid, its starting to sound like he wants to get paid....i,m not sure what he means by commitment the Vikings have shown there commitment by paying him the BIG BUCKS!
There is something about the way the contract is structured that they are just knit picking about. I dont get it either.
i was over at youtube.com i saw some highlights on Erick Kendricks looks like he's a pretty good player..him and Anthony Barr should be awesome it's nice to see they have some kind of an idea on which way to go
