The Minnesota Vikings welcome back Kirk Cousins as he brings his NFC South-leading Atlanta Falcons into U.S. Bank Stadium. Cousins and the Falcons have an explosive offense and a defense that can make plays, especially defending the pass. Sam Darnold is going to have his work cut out for him with veteran safeties Jessie Bates and Justin Simmons patrolling the Falcons secondary. Justin Jefferson will be facing off against A.J. Terrell on the outside and then we get to see the Vikings defensive front against the Falcons veteran offensive line. Justin Jefferson... Mr. 'always gets double coverage' He has 68 catches, 1,038 yards, and 5 touchdowns through 12 games, trailing only the Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase in yardage. He leads the league with 20 receptions of at least 20 yards, and he leads the league with nine games with at least 80 yards (no one else has more than six). Thats not bad for getting the focus of every defensive backfield the Vikings go up against.
There is a lot of pressure on me to not allow my head to explode during the game. Vikings cannot turn over the ball (Darnold and Jones) and Darnold will be facing some really good ballhawks in that Falcons secondary. Huge game for the Vikings offensive line, they must play lights out. Im really going to love watching the Vikings defense get after Cousins... seeing the crowd reaction towards him might be fun also.
It's just time for the Vikings to have a big game and Aaron Jones he really needs to hang on to ball he gives me flashbacks of Dalvin Cook fumbling
