You know I hope JJ̌ McCarthy isn't injury prone Sam Darnold is showing his alĺ of flaws what's with all these INT's KOC wife saŵ her on TV she's a nice looking lady
The Bears have an explosive offense on paper, with rookie Caleb Williams directing things, but the offensive line is an issue. The Vikings’ pressure up front is sure to cause some issues for him, but they still have to execute. Minnesota Vikings Offensive yards per game: 359.7 Defensive yards allowed per game: 333.3 Points scored per game: 24.4 Points allowed per game: 17 Chicago Bears Offensive yards per game: 316.8 Defensive yards allowed per game: 344 Points scored per game: 19.4 Points allowed per game: 18.7
Looks the Vikings should win but the Vikings in̈ Chicago where some weird stuff goes on it's always a knock out drag out fight with the Bears GO VIKINGS beat the Bears
Its always a thriller in Chicago. Real interesting matchups to watch today too... Vikings defensive-line vs the Bears o-line is one, especially with the sack-happy multiple looks the Vikings defense can throw at the opponent. Bears give up tons of yards on the ground, but their secondary is pretty stout, so hopefully the Vikings establish the run game which should leave Darnold some, play action time... and hopefully he gets rid of the ball quicker without the turnovers... Darnold is trying to set the Guinness book of world records for turnovers, lol. Even though the Vikings secondary is very weak statistically, the Vikings defense is #1 in the League in interceptions. Vikings defense is also ranked #1 in stuffing the run and thats something Ive waited for a long, long time. Usually, we can just throw all the stats out the window when it comes to the Vikings playing at Soldier Field. My game plan is to expect the same ol' nerve racking, close, nail-biting, last team with the ball wins crap and I hope this isnt the day the Bears and Williams decide to go off. Maybe Eberflush can help the Vikings out with some real nice calls that turn out not-so-nice.
Seems to me his checkdowns are a bit slow. He drops back and nearly stares down the receiver, if he's covered its just a second too long before he finds #2 or 3 open and usually by then he's in panic mode and forces things... not all the time, but too often in my opinion. I think the pocket holds up adequately, but his release point must be set a bit earlier, if i were to critique it. He does have great coach's and Im sure this is being dealt with, but what you can learn and accomplish in practice is a lot different than the heat of the battle once your in live action on the field. Throw it away and live for another down... the fumbles are nuts, he needs stickem or glue maybe, lol.
Having said that about, Darnold, here's a really assbackwards stat I seen on ESPN - Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold has had multiple turnovers in four games this season. Minnesota is undefeated in those contests. Makes me wanna wish he fumbles at least twice, lol. Go figure.
What the hell just happened @Willie ?!?!? The network just switched to the Vikings game, Vikings scored and then The Bears just followed it up with a TD a 2-point conversion, an onside kick and a FG to tie it as time ran out. And the Bears get the ball first in OT….
That was a pretty sloppy OT by both teams. Congrats on pulling that one out. I feel bad for the Bears. One hell of a comeback only to implode in OT.
Sloppy is right. Johnny Mundt Vikings TE, nearly cost them the game. Ball bounced off his leg on that onside kick, then he jumps on the o-line for a critical penalty, but man o man, what a nerve game. I was pleased with Darnold going 2 weeks without a turnover and good work by him to see Jefferson drawing doubles, so he lit Addison up all game. I needed a break after that thing.
Danny Dimes? a Vikings he was a total failure in NY i thought he would be a Raider WTF is going on here
Its true, he signed to the practice squad. Its not a bad move, in my opinion. He will have better coaching and a great core of targets, which should lead to a better line when or if he's called upon in case of an injury.
Jones signed just a 1 year, $375,000 contract and will be a free agent next season. Only QB the Vikings have contracted for next year is, JJ McCarthy, so it makes sense in that regard also. Darnold, Mullens and Rypien are all FA's at the end of the season, so the Vikings wont have to look too far for an arm if Jones likes Minnesota... and who wouldnt?
Well he does have better weapons I just don't know and Sam Darnold should not view this as some kind of threat,it might be ok I'm not sure
MINNESOTA VIKINGS Offensive yards per game: 369.5 Defensive yards allowed per game: 341 Points scored per game: 24.9 Points allowed per game: 17.9 ARIZONA CARDINALS Offensive yards per game: 353.3 Defensive yards allowed per game: 357 Points scored per game: 22.2 Points allowed per game: 21.5 As of now Robinson is out on the o-line and Oliver out at TE... A few more banged up that will be game time decisions... Harrison Phillips, Van Ginkel, Pat Jones II, Grugier-Hill and Bullard. Some key players, especially on defense, but as of Fridays report Ive got nothing new on their status. Anyways, Time to take care of business.
It's just time to crush em they need a blow out game a complete game on Offense and Defense they haven't had one yet GO VIKINGS
Aaron Jones needs to realize the defense, especially Murphy-Bunting are short punching at the football. Jones is pissed, but he needs tp calm down and adapt.
