Me too it continues to be a Vikings weak spot l just don't get it, I hope in the draft Kwesi can find a Vince Willfork type( Patriots ).Vikings got to rebuild the Williams wall GO VIKINGS
Nice to see Dallas Turner get some snaps on Sunday. He did a little bit of everything. Vikings first-round pick Dallas Turner played almost as many defensive snaps on Sunday night against the Colts (26) as he had in the previous four games combined (31). After barely seeing the field against the Lions and Rams, Turner got an opportunity to be a big part of the outside linebacker rotation and took advantage of it with the best game of his young career. Turner did a little bit of everything in his 26 snaps. He rushed the passer 11 times and recorded a career-high four pressures, per PFF. He had a QB hit on an unblocked blitz from a nickel alignment and nearly got to Joe Flacco a couple times late in the game on sacks by his teammates. He also had two tackles on nine snaps in run defense and dropped into coverage on six snaps. The end result was a very solid 71.3 PFF grade for Turner, whose athletic ability was on display. SI
I was comfortable with the kicking game not now,he did not address the D-line or the O-line Kwesi what are you doing i wonder do you even want the Vikings to be elite
Vikings signed Kicker, John Parker Romo. (per VIKINGSWIRE) Romo was undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft and signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent. He spent the 2022 season on the Saints’ practice squad, never seeing a regular-season game. In the spring of 2023, Romo would find himself in the XFL with the San Antonio Brahmas, where he would play in all 10 of their games and make 17 of his 19 field goal attempts. That stint in the XFL earned Romo a tryout with the Detroit Lions. After the tryout, Romo signed with Detroit but was released before the season started. From there, Romo would land on the Chicago Bears’ practice squad for September before being waived in early October. Now, Romo has landed in Minnesota, where he will finally make his regular-season debut in the league. How long Romo sticks around is uncertain as there still isnt a time-line or any clarification as to how long Reichard will be sidelined.
Darrisaw had surgery for his torn MCL and ACL... it was successful, and he is expected to be ready for 2025. So, thats why they got the veteran Robinson from the Jags to be the offensive tackle to replace him.
Bullard and Tillery isnt a bad outside rush and Phillips and Rodriguez playing nose-tackle will be ok, (they better be)... granted there is no super star pass rusher with a big name, but rotating in Turner and others I believe the Vikings d-line is ok for now. They have played well. Offensive ball-control like they showed vs the Colts is a good way to keep the opposing offenses off the field. During that game vs the Colts the o-line did very well and I personally believe the depth is adequate at this time. Vikings were dominate offensively vs the Colts, just a couple turnovers by Darnold and a couple missed FG's was the only thing that kept it from being a blowout.
"The Vikings signed defensive lineman Jalen Redmond to the 53-player roster, the team announced Wednesday. Redmond has bounced between the Vikings’ practice squad and active roster this season. He has appeared in five games for the Vikings, totaling three tackles and one sack."
Why oh why do they keep sticking with Garrett Bradbury he keeps getting pushed into the QB it happened with Capt Kirk now it's happening to Sam Darnold they NEED a center

per; NFL.com The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to be without quarterback Trevor Lawrence for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings because of a left shoulder injury, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday night. Lawrence sustained the injury in the first half of last weekend's 28-23 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles when he was hit while diving headfirst on a run. This will be only the second game Lawrence has sat out since the Jaguars drafted him first overall in 2021. The question is whether Lawrence will make it back for next Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions or whether the team will give him one more week of rest with Jacksonville's bye coming the week after. The Jaguars are expected to have wide receivers Brian Thomas Jr. and Gabe Davis, both listed a questionable, for the Vikings game Sunday, the source said. Davis is dealing with a shoulder injury and Thomas is dealing with a chest injury. _________ ____________________ This is the kind of game where the Vikings need to really get it together and play 60 minutes of smashmouth football. They need to dominate this kind of a game and be able to solidify their execution. Go after Mac Jones and hurry him and just play smart. I really want to see more of the hurry-up and simpler type offense they initiated vs the Colts... I think they looked a lot more comfortable by just sticking to the basics and letting the talent do the work. Confusing the defenses with their elaborate offensive formations looked like it confused the Vikings at times. Stay healthy out there too, obviously.
Mac Jones might play very well he seems a lot more relaxed being that he's out of New England,Vikings just play your game and you be okay GO VIKINGS
Crazy how they sign Romo to place kick and he gets his first ever FG followed by 3 more and the Vikings win, 12-7.
Of the 60 minutes that an NFL game accrues during its run time, the Vikings had the ball for 42:19. Thats amazing. If the Vikings can cut down on turnovers and execute, they will be ok down the stretch.
Vikings' Aaron Jones should be OK despite injury scare vs. Jaguars Vikings running back Aaron Jones took a helmet to the ribs and was in some pain in the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Jaguars. He stayed down for a bit and then went to the blue medical tent on the sideline. Jones looked ready to come back in the game after that, but then the FOX broadcast showed him being carted off the field. As it turned out, he was just being taken for X-rays. "The only reason I got carted off was because the X-Ray machine was on the whole other side of the stadium," Jones told Kay Adams on Monday. "If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have gotten carted off." After X-rays showed no damage, he was able to return and handle four carries in the final minutes of the Vikings' victory. Jones finished the game with 101 yards from scrimmage on 19 touches. "The initial hit, I thought it cracked something," he said, via the Star Tribune. "But I’m good." "Tough player," Kevin O'Connell said. "He was able to kinda get his wind back, it was one of those things, and once he was able to go, he was itching to get back in there." It sounds like Jones should be fine for next Sunday's game against the Titans. That's good news for the Vikings, considering how impressive the former Packers running back has been in his first season with Minnesota. Jones is up to 911 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in nine games, putting him on pace for a career-high in yardage if he's able to stay healthy for the final eight weeks. "Little sore, but mentality is everything," Jones said after the game. "I feel strong. I feel like a lot of people would've checked out, but it's about these guys in this locker room. That's why I went back out there." YARDBARKER
According to ESPN Minnesota Vikings reporter Kevin Seifert, Kevin O’Connell confirmed Aaron Jones will most likely be limited in practice and play against Tennessee. Certainly, great news.
