Hunting we will go like the mindset they will probably lose more games than they will win this season just luv KOC positive outlook for the Vikings....GO VIKINGS
I think the Vikings will surprise a few teams and people. You ever see a team written off and they kick some ass? Hoping thats the case in Minnesota.
Harrison Phillips agrees to two-year extension with Vikings Vikings defensive tackle Harrison Phillips celebrated a win on Sunday and he’ll be celebrating a new contract this week. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Phillips has agreed to a two-year extension with the NFC North club. The deal is reportedly worth up to $19 million with over $13 million in guaranteed money. Phillips signed a three-year deal with the Vikings as a free agent in 2022 and he has started every game that the team has played since he came to Minnesota. He has 156 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery as a member of the team and he had five tackles and a sack in the Week One win over the Giants. The Vikings will be looking for more of the same from Phillips against the 49ers this week and through the 2026 season.
I wish the Vikings could find a replacement for Jonathan Bullard, but Harrison Phillips contact extension 19 million 13 million in guaranteed money nice he has been Mr Dependable
I'm my way home from the store I just luv the talk of a 49ers blowout over the Vikings, they can play loose cause the PRESSURE is on the 49ers if they don't blowout the Vikings it's a major fail for them
I got to hit the road in about an hour, so I'll miss the 2nd half. Exciting game so far, its got everything.
Both sides of the ball for the Vikings are playing one hell of a game. Im surprised actually.Nobody goes down to injury and we may have something very interesting. Enjoy the game, BaddMan, I gotta boogie.
Justin Jefferson: I’m not seriously injured Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said he was hopeful that wide receiver Justin Jefferson avoided a serious quad injury on Sunday and the man himself said that all is well after the 23-17 win over the 49ers. Jefferson left the game after colliding with 49ers linebacker Fred Warner and teammate Garrett Bradbury on a fourth quarter running play and did not return. He said after the game that he will be good to go against the Texans next weekend. “I’m not seriously injured,” Jefferson said, via Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com. “So that’s the main important thing. So, it’s just all about getting to the training room, making sure my body is right for next week, and I’ll be ready to go next Sunday.” Jefferson had four catches for 133 yards before getting hurt. One of those catches went for a 97-yard touchdown.
Vikings edge rusher Dallas Turner suffered a knee injury that forced him to limp off the field during Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, but it isn’t expected to be a long-term issue for the rookie, coach Kevin O’Connell said postgame. “Late there, felt a little thing in his knee,” O’Connell said. “We think it, we’ll have to evaluate it, but more than likely not going to be something, I don’t think, will be long term.” Turner had two tackles before his exit, though notably, he had a miscue on a punt when he stepped on the goal line while attempting to down the ball at the 49ers 1-yard line. But overall, Turner has shown flashes this season and now has five tackles and a sack in his young NFL career. The Vikings traded up from No. 23 to No. 17 in this year’s NFL draft to select Turner, a dynamic pass rusher out of Alabama who had 10 sacks and 53 tackles in his senior season. It's unclear whether the knee issue will impact Turner's status looking ahead to the Vikings' Week 3 game against the Houston Texans, but he fortunately has appeared to avoid the worst. SI _________ ___________________ Sure hope Jefferson and Turner are not long term. They balled their asses off today. We and all fans will know more soon.
