Vikings lose again in the pre-season if this was a preview òf the season were in Big Trouble!!!! Vikings 17 Cardinals 18 we lose
Vikings have lost 10 straight preseason football games, its not really a concern. They'll be just fine once the bearded guy takes over, lol.
I really do hope and I think the starters will look much sharper than they looked today the Vikings came out on fire, then it was like where are the Vikings
Vikings trade OL Vederian Lowe to Patriots for a sixth-round pick Now we know the Patriots are as concerned about their offensive tackle depth as fans are. They made their second trade for an offensive tackle Sunday, acquiring Vederian Lowe from the Vikings for a sixth-round pick, Jordan Schultz of theScore.com reports. Earlier in the day, the Patriots sent running back Pierre Strong Jr. to the Browns in exchange for offensive tackle Tyrone Wheatley Jr. Wheatley has no NFL regular-season experience and Lowe only slightly more. The Vikings made him a sixth-round pick in 2022, and he played four games. Lowe saw action on 33 offensive snaps at left tackle in Week 18. He also played 20 snaps on special teams last season. Lowe played 140 total snaps in the preseason, seeing action at both tackle spots. The Vikings have Blake Brandel and Oli Udoh as their top backup tackles. The Patriots continue to search for someone — anyone — to go along with starting left tackle Trent Brown. PFT
A six round pick I'm çool with that from the Patriots you should be able to get a decent pick depending on how the draft shakes out
Vikings cut 15 players, including QB Jordan Ta’amu, LB Tanner Vallejo The Vikings are making progress on the task of cutting their roster down from 90 players to 53. 15 players got their pink slips in Minnesota today, including quarterback Jordan Ta’amu and linebacker Tanner Vallejo. The well-traveled Ta’amu was the XFL offensive player of the year in 2023 with the DC Defenders, and the USFL’s leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns in 2022 with the Tampa Bay Bandits. But in several NFL stops he has yet to get on the field for a regular-season game. Vallejo has been in the NFL since 2017 and has a reputation as a good special teams player, but the Vikings apparently didn’t think he was a fit on their defense. Other players cut by the Vikings are DL Calvin Avery, CB Kalon Barnes, CB C.J. Coldon, Jr., T Christian DiLauro, CB Jameson Houston, LB Wilson Huber, WR Garett Maag, RB Abram Smith, OL Josh Sokol, TE Colin Thompson, T Jarrid Williams, LB Jake Gervase and CB Tay Gowan. PFT
Wednesday morning brought word that the Vikings will be signing running back Myles Gaskin, but there was no word of the corresponding move they would make to open room for Gaskin on the roster. It appears that move will involve wide receiver Jalen Reagor. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Vikings are going to waive Reagor on Tuesday. The Vikings acquired Reagor in a trade with the Eagles last year and the 2020 first-round pick has a guaranteed salary of just over $2.4 million this season. Reagor played every game for Minnesota last year and had eight catches for 104 yards and a touchdown. He also averaged 6.4 yards on 26 punt returns. Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, K.J. Osborn, Jalen Nailor, and Brandon Powell are the other wideouts on the 53-man roster in Minnesota. NBC
Gaskin played 34 games over his first three seasons in Miami, but only made four appearances last season. He has 361 carries for 1,355 yards and seven rushing touchdowns to go with 101 catches for 701 yards and six touchdowns through the air.

Coldon, Jr. Running back DeWayne McBride Cornerback Jaylin Williams Outside linebacker Luiji Vilain Defensive lineman T.J. The ESPN depth chart has him listed at RB4... Nwangwu is nursing an injury, so yes just depth at the moment. The Vikings.com site hasnt updated the depth chart yet.
The Vikings placed running back Kene Nwangwu on injured reserve Wednesday. They also announced the signings of running back Myles Gaskin and offensive tackle David Quessenberry and waived wide receiver Jalen Reagor. The moves of Gaskin and Reagor previously were reported. Nwangwu, who missed the past three weeks with an undisclosed injury, will miss at least four games on injured reserve before he can return. Nwangwu, a fourth-round pick in 2021, returned two kickoffs for touchdowns as a rookie. He averaged 26.3 yards last season and returned one kickoff for a touchdown. Gaskin joins Alexander Mattison and Ty Chandler at running back for the Vikings. Quessenberry fills a need for depth in the offensive line after the Vikings dealt offensive tackle Vederian Lowe to the Patriots this week. Quessenberry has played both tackle and guard in stints with the Texans, Titans and Bills. NBC ________ __________________ Nice to see some o-line veteran depth.

The Vikings and tight end T.J. Hockenson have struck a deal. Shortly after multiple reports broke regarding an agreement on the terms of a contract extension, General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and head coach Kevin O’Connell confirmed the news during a press conference. There’s no word on terms, but the aforementioned reports say it will make Hockenson one of the highest-paid tight ends in the league. Hockenson was not a full participant in training camp practices this summer and fielded repeated questions about whether the lack of a contract extension was the reason. Hockenson said it wasn’t, but it seems like a good bet that getting the deal done will result in him stepping up his practice work ahead of the season opener. The Vikings traded a 2023 second- and a 2024 third-round pick to the Lions for Hockenson and two fourth-round picks last year. The 2019 first-round pick had 60 catches for 519 yards and three touchdowns after coming to Minnesota. NBC
I'm glad that Trishton Jackson cleared waivers and he's on the practice squad really didn't want to lose him
