I looked some highlights if he was so dominant why did the Saints let him walk out the door was it his health or is he injury prone....he looks like he's a real chaos maker a player the D-line needs
He's streaky, up and down... when he's on he looks good. I think inconsistency and health issues are his biggest determent.
Garrett Bradbury agrees to new deal with Vikings Center Garrett Bradbury will be staying in Minnesota. According to multiple reports, Bradbury has agreed to a three-year, $15.75 million contract to remain with the Vikings. The Vikings did not exercise Bradbury’s fifth-year option before the 2022 season, but they decided to bring him back after he started 12 regular season games and a playoff game. Bradbury has started all 60 games he’s played since the Vikings made him the 18th overall pick in the 2019 draft. Bradbury was the only starter on the Vikings offensive line set for free agency this offseason. Head coach Kevin O’Connell said recently that the team expects right tackle Brian O'Neill back for camp after tearing his Achilles. PFT
Ian Rapoport if NFL Media reports that the team has converted a chunk of Cousins’ compensation into a signing bonus. According to multiple reports, the result is $16 million cap space for the coming season, which is the final one on Cousins’ contract. The remaining hit pushed into the two void years that are tacked onto his deal.
Are the Vikings going to play defense this season? Or are they going to try and outscore their opponents?
I'm not sure what the Vikings are doing? will they play any defense who knows oh and congrats on picking up Patrick Peterson your HC will get the best out of him dumb ass Vikings let him get away losing that veteran leadership was a HUGE loss for the Vikings IMO
I hope they have a plan on defense, because they got rid of their best players on that side of the ball.
Seems like it are the Vikings rebuilding the defense hey it's a just WTF are you guys doing moment as a fan I'm just confused
Mr. Inconsistent (Joseph) is back for another year 2 - 2.5 million. Thats a lot of cash for a hit and miss, blow a game kinda guy, but what do I know. Must be a shortage on kickers or some shit. He did make some huge kicks at important times... he also missed some huge kicks at important times. Wheres Gould when you need him?
The Josh Oliver signing makes no sense to me 21 million dollar deal 10.75 guaranteed they could have used that money on TJ Hockenson...even though Garrett Bradbury had a good year I just don't trust him keep Harrison Smith and draft a safety
I think the reasoning is based on his performance last season... he was steady and it helps to have an area that doesnt need to be addressed come time for the Draft. Vikings dont have much Draft capitol, so signing Bradburry in hope he's even better and can stay healthy is a plus. Just an opinion. The defense is really a work in progress. Im dizzy watching it and hope Kwesi knows what the hell he's doing... Flores too.
Vikings finalizing two-year, $22 million contract for ex-Cardinals CB Byron Murphy Minnesota lost one big-name cornerback to free agency this year but has added another. The Vikings are finalizing a two-year, $22 million deal with former Cardinals cornerback Byron Murphy, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported. Murphy, the No. 33 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and the No. 25 overall player in Gregg Rosenthal's top 101 free agents, has five career interceptions, 34 passes defensed, five fumble recoveries and two defensive touchdowns in 56 games played. Although Murphy played in just nine games last season due to a back injury and failed to tally an interception a year after collecting four, he has proven versatility with an ability to match up with wide receivers outside and in the slot. That will come in handy for the Vikings as they undergo a youth movement in the secondary. Murphy joins the NFC North champion one day after three-time All-Pro Patrick Peterson departed for Pittsburgh. NFL.com
Report: Vikings RB Dalvin Cook drawing trade interest from two teams Dalvin Cook has apparently piqued the interest of a couple of running back-needy teams. Darren Wolfson of KSTP in Minnesota reported this week that the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins are said to have inquired about the four-time Pro Bowler Cook. While Cook remains under contract with the Minnesota Vikings through 2025, recent reports have suggested he could be traded. The Falcons have an aging running back in Cordarrelle Patterson (who turns 32 later this month) and another back in 22-year-old Tyler Allgeier who has talent but has yet to prove that he is true RB1 material. When it comes to the Dolphins, they now seem less likely to make a big backfield trade since they just re-signed both Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. Cook, 27, just posted his fourth straight season with over 1,100 yards rushing and was surprisingly durable as well, making all 17 starts for the Vikings. But Minnesota has already moved on from some of their mainstays this offseason, and this report indicates that they should have little trouble finding a suitor for Cook if they decide to part with him as well. Harrison Smith, Vikings agree on reworked contract Safety Harrison Smith was mentioned as a potential cap casualty in Minnesota this offseason, but he won’t be leaving the Vikings. According to multiple reports, Smith and the Vikings have worked out a revised contractual agreement that will keep Smith with the team. Smith had been set to make $14.7 million this season with a cap hit north of $19.1 million as part of a deal that runs through 2025. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports Smith will now make $8 million with $2 million in incentives for the 2023 season. Smith has spent his entire 11-year career with the Vikings and made 85 tackles while picking off five passes in 14 games for the team last season. He’ll get a chance to repeat that kind of success in 2023. PFT
Good move by the Vikings keeping some veteran leadership to help them be a better football player's and to stay àway from foolishness....Glad he's still a member of the Minnesota Vikings
