Were they trying to outdo the draft that netted them Hershel Walker?

I really didn’t see any value in the Vikings favor in any of the trades.

So far I really think that Kwesi Adofo-Mensah is over his head as Vikings GM it's been a rough and rocky start just hope it gets better got my fingers crossed

Yeah the Lewis Cine and the Andrew Booth were ok cause the Vikings needed a hard hitting safety and a cb was a must!!!!!!

Vikings decline Garrett Bradbury’s fifth-year option

The Vikings have made one of their expected moves official on Monday.

Per Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Minnesota has declined center Garrett Bradbury‘s fifth-year option for 2023.

Bradbury was the 18th overall pick of the 2019 draft. He’s started all 16 games at center in each of the first two seasons of his career. But in 2021, Mason Cole replaced him for a few games before Bradbury was inserted back into the lineup.

Had the Vikings elected to pick up Bradbury’s option, they would have owed him $13.202 million in 2023.

As Tomasson points out, Minnesota is still counting on Bradbury to be its starting center in 2022 and the club could re-sign him after the season.

Isn't amazing that the coaching staff can't see that Garrett Bradbury is not a good center I still think they can find one..why don't they try Wyatt Davis or Kyle Hinton at center or try to sign a decent center tired of seeing the rush up the middle

After a few days after the draft it really doesn't look that bad

The picks are good, it’s the trades that were retarded

The Vikings are adding a kicker.

Per Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Minnesota has signed undrafted free agent Gabe Brkic.

Brkic played his college ball at Oklahoma and was a finalist for the Lou Groza Award in 2021. He hit 20-of-26 field goals last season while also hitting 57-of-58 extra points.

In all, Brkic connected on 57 of his 69 field goal attempts in college.

By signing Brkic, the team has set up competition for Greg Joseph, who signed a restricted free agent tender worth $2.43 million in April. But because it’s not guaranteed, Brkic will likely get plenty of opportunities to beat out Joseph in the offseason program and training camp.

Joseph hit 33-of-38 field goals and 36-of-40 extra points for the Vikings in 2021.

Luv the competition used not worry about the kicking game in the past,in the Zimmer years it was down right scary at times well let the best man win

Chad Greenway thinks that Mike Zimmer is an elite coach how come this so called elite coach was always getting outcoached and he could never win the close games like elite teams do

Kurt Cousins is not elite. Until the Vikings realize that they aren’t going to do much in the post season. He can get you to the playoffs but not to the SB.

I disagree. I believe that Kirk can win a SB... its always been a team thing. Remember Trent Dilfer?

Can Capt Kirk take the Vikings to the SB he always seems to come up short in big games its time to SHOW US you can get the job done and your right is a team thing

I whole-heartedly belive, under the right circumstances, Cousins can win a SB.

We need a defense also, a kicking game and all in all, a team.
