I don't what hell is going on Sloter gone never really got a chance to show what he can do,Vedvik gave up on him too soon and you just gave the Ravens a 5th round draft pick ( WTF )Treadwell oh well he had his chance to be a star and blew it,seems like he's putting all his eggs in one basket ( Capt Kirk ) i'm just not sold on him to get the job done
I hope Bradbury is durable stays injury free Pat Elflien the back up center from what i have seen it's been rough i wonder can he handle it ( i think he can )
I hope Mackenzie Alexander injury isn't real bad hey Jayron Kearse time to shine, don't rush back Mike Hughes to bad Mackenzie Alexander was becoming a baller...Vedvik with the Jets not doing well
Kirk Cousin the 84 million dollar man and Tricky Ricky and Mike Zimmer their fates are tied together for the 2019 season it's boom or bust, just 10 pass attempts huh
Mackensie Alexander doesn’t need surgery, and the Vikings won’t have to make a roster move for him either. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Vikings cornerback will not need surgery for his dislocated elbow, which means he should avoid going on injured reserve. Alexander suffered the obviously painful injury in Sunday’s win over the Falcons. While he could still miss some time, not being in a position where he needs an eight-week break is a good thing. The Vikings still have three first-round picks at the position (Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes, and Mike Hughes who is nearing a comeback from knee problems), so they’re deeper than most teams at cornerback.
The Vikings needed to make room for Josh Doctson last week, costing Brett Jones his spot on the roster. Jones’ departure lasted only a week. Jones re-signed with the Vikings on Tuesday, the team announced. The Vikings waived tight end Brandon Dillon in a corresponding move. He played seven offensive snaps in Sunday’s opener. Jones will backup Garrett Bradbury at center. The Vikings had guard Pat Elflein as Bradbury’s backup last week in case of emergency. The Vikings traded for Jones last August. He re-signed with them in April after Nick Easton left for the Saints in free agency. Jones started three games for Minnesota last season. Jones, 28, has played 44 career games with 17 starts, mostly with the Giants. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2015.
Harrison Smith is the marquee name at safety for the Vikings, but his partner was the one in the spotlight after a 28-12 win over the Falcons in Week One. Anthony Harris intercepted Matt Ryan in the first quarter to set up a Dalvin Cook touchdown run and he recovered a Devonta Freeman fumble in the second quarter that was followed by a Kirk Cousins touchdown run. Harris notched another interception of Ryan in the second half to kill a promising Falcons drive. Harris also recorded five tackles and the entire package was enough for him to get the nod as the first NFC Defensive Player of the Week of the 2019 season. Harris joined the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2015 and started 17 games over his first four seasons. More performances like the one against the Falcons will get him close to matching that number this year.
I'm glad they re-signed Brett Jones quess Pat Elflein can't handle it being the back up center i wonder why they don't play him Brett Jones?
Wide receiver Josh Doctson‘s stay on the active roster in Minnesota looks like it is coming to an end. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Vikings are placing Doctson on injured reserve. A leg injury is given as the reason for his placement on the list and, per Rapoport, there’s hope for a return to action later this season. Doctson signed with the Vikings last week after being released by Washington at the end of August. He was inactive for last week’s win over the Falcons. His arrival came just after the Vikings released wide receiver Laquon Treadwell, who was selected a pick after Doctson in the first round of the 2016 draft. Treadwell remains a free agent, but it seems unlikely that the Vikings would call him back to fill Doctson’s spot in the lineup. Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, Chad Beebe and Olabisi Johnson are the other receivers in Minnesota.
Wasn't he injury plagued with the Redskins even before he takes the field as a Vikings he has a leg injury and can't play
