The Vikings have a cool looking logo along with the Lions Cowboys Raiders Steelers and the 49ers Patriots Chargers and the old AFL Chiefs logo

Question for you if it ever comes down either Diggs or Barr who you got, hope it never comes to that i just wonder how much pull does Zimmer have in a situation like this cause it could be a big time mess?

If I had too... Diggs easily. Vikings are deeper defensively and could replace Barr more successfully. Hope it doesn't become a scenario like that tho.

The Vikings signed defensive end Danielle Hunter to a five-year extension that includes $40 million in guarantees. One down, two to go.

Minnesota also is hoping to get receiver Stefon Diggs and linebacker Anthony Barr signed to extensions before they become free agents in March.

“We want to keep all of our guys, and we’ll try to see if there’s a way that we can do that because those guys are very important to us and we would love to get them locked up as well,” Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman said, via Courtney Cronin of ESPN.

Spielman noted that the Vikings got three deals done last summer as salary-cap guru Rob Brzezinski worked his magic. The Vikings extended cornerback Xavier Rhodes, defensive end Everson Griffen and defensive tackle Linval Joseph.

They hope to do the same this summer.

Diggs enters the final year of his deal due to make only $1.91 million in base salary this season. Barr is in the final year of his with a $12.31 million base.

The Vikings also could look to lock up center Nick Easton long term. He will make $2.914 million under the second-round tender.

I don't know how this will play out Diggs will have to be paid, and they will have to find a way to pay Barr and Nick Easton is the wild card here...time to sit back and enjoy the show

    Copied from Wikipedia:

The Alliance of American Football (AAF) is a proposed professional American football league set to commence play in February 2019, one week following the National Football League's Super Bowl championship game.

The league will operate as a single entity, with all teams owned and operated by the league, under the name Legendary Field Exhibitions LLC. Some of the investors in the AAF include Peter Thiel's Founders Fund, The Chernin Group (which owns Barstool Sports), Jared Allen, Slow Ventures, Adrian Fenty, Charles King's M Ventures, and Keith Rabois. The league is also planning player bonuses and scholarships; player bonuses to be based on performance and fan interaction, and players would earn a year's scholarship in post-secondary education for each season of play. For the fans, in addition to a fantasy league built into mobile broadcasts, low ticket prices ($35) and inexpensive food are planned.

Also, to complete the post above, Steve Spurrier will coach the Orlando team.

There’s a set scale for rookie contracts, so why are there so many still unsigned?

That's a good question... to the best of my knowledge and from looking at holdouts in the past, rookies agents are behind it and try to get things ironed out like teams being able to recoup money if the player is cut. Some other issues are the time tables and structure of signing and incentive bonuses. It doesn't really matter financially as a whole, its just some nit-picking going on about the language of how a contract is written.

In the 2014 draft the Minnesota Vikings would have passed on Barr if they have a draft re-do then why the hell did they draft him doesn't look for him does it

Not really, but its a strange business at times.

Anthony would be best served in landing a gig in a 3-4 defense this off-season.

I've always liked the player but never cared for the fit in Minnesota.
