Yeah, not sure you were involved at all, but there was just a really sour conversation last week about a Cosby comparison. It didn't go well on the Browns board.
I was not and had I known I probably would not have posted the above. While I do like a good argument and do enjoy some good ribbing with other teams I do not go oit of my way to stir shit as they say.
I imagine this done scouting report style: Deshaun Watson Pros: strong 'finisher', ability to 'rise' to the occassion, doesn't quit despite pressure Cons: quit on a team, weakest arm in NFL Combine history, 22 23 24 25 26 aww... f**k it... multiple pending civil suits Comp: Harvey Weinstein
Non stop comedy on this thread. Real Browns fans that never asked for any of this, remain quietly optimistic.
TD's top 10 Predictions for Cleveland Browns this season; - Mayfield gets traded to Carolina and gets his dream "revenge" match-up week 1. - Mayfield gets hit early and often in week 1...Browns win and Brissett plants Cleveland Browns flag at midfield in Book of America Stadium. - Watson gets 10 game suspension from the NFL and tries to appeal to 8...No dice on appeal. - Jacoby Brissett fills in admirably and keeps the Browns in the hunt through the first half of the season. - SAS can't controll his excitement and quickly abandons Chargers after Cleveland rolls the Bolts in week 5. - David Bell quickly establishes himself as major OROY candidate. - As extra precaution the Browns cancel all massage therapy sessions for personnel, as playoffs approach. - Flex scheduling loves Cleveland late. Browns become primetime regulars. - Myles Garret breaks record for sacks in a season with a crushing devastation of Steelers QB in week 18. Sends text to Brett Favre; "I didn't need help." - Browns win AFCN for first time since 89.
No way all this happens. Watson likely got unlimited massages written into the contract. Ok but seriously, if Brissett is the QB for the first 10 games you can forget a division title. Outside of the Dolphins and possibly Falcons, week 3 through 11 would be rough for Cleveland with Watson, let alone Jacoby
Yeah, REAL Browns fans say that the female accusers are just lying and chasing the money, like good ol' TopDawg.
Why stop there, we got Tampa week 12....I'm not saying it's going to be a cakewalk. I said Brissett will keep us in the hunt. No doubt it's a tough schedule, but as I mentioned before JB will be supported by one of the best Offensive Lines in the league, and one of the best running games in football. If they want to shove 8 in the box to try and stop the run, Brissett and Stefanski will make em pay. If there is a team built to overcome the loss of their starting QB, it's the Cleveland Browns. Built solid on both sides of the ball. JB doesn't have to go out and play hero ball every week, nor will the Browns ask him to do that. He is more than capable of not giving the game away. With this roster, that will be enough to keep Cleveland in the mix....Brissett might even surprise people. I just don't share the opinion that this is a washout year for Cleveland if Watson has a lengthy suspension. The Browns are built to win now. I believe they can, with or without Watson under Center.
How the fuck is that a positive if the only reason he came here was to play with Watson and Watson most likely won't be playing in 2022? He's on a one year deal... so... No one wins in Cleveland if the starting QB is Jacoby Brissett. There isn't sugar coating this, as much as everyone tries to. The Browns took a MAJOR step backwards pursuing a guy who was smack dab in the middle of legal troubles.
