What fun is it to watch this team and compare Mitch to shit quarterbacks of years past and expect failure because they failed?

Shitty ex-QB’s have nothing to do with how Mitch will perform - get them out of your head NOW! New era, new team, new personnel.

Mitch has shown just as much accuracy as he has wildness. He has put some passes in some really tight windows and has made some nice back-shoulder throws. But us Bears fans always want to focus on the negative plays from the QB position, because we are mentally programmed from years and years of shitty play to focus on that.

I see his bad throws as classic nerves. He WILL get better, less errant, and learn to throw it away when he should.

You can already see him going through his progressions better, and so what if he doesn’t see his third or fourth option and takes off running? First down! Isn’t that the objective?

I’m going to kick back and drink my fancy beers and enjoy the show.
