Unfortunately compromise is all but lost in today's world. I was never a fan of Trump but in an effort to look at the positives of his election I thought if there was ever a guy who could bridge the gap between the two parties he would be the guy. He didn't need anyone, didn't owe anyone (any traditional donors that is) and wasn't afraid to ruffle feathers. Unfortunately, at this point he has been unwilling to follow through on that part of his campaign rhetoric. Maybe that can change at some point.
Not sure how many bridges you are planning on building when your main goal is to "Drain The Swamp". Which my interpretation of that was to get the "Establishment" Republicans, Democrats and media from having a lock on the political process in the country. They are fighting like gators when their home is being threatened. IMHO

beach: Unfortunately, at this point he has been unwilling to follow through on that part of his campaign rhetoric. Maybe that can change at some point. I hope so. IMHO His, what he has done with his presidency has been good. His personal, electronic most notably, commentary is bad... very bad and IMO unbecoming of his office. reminds me a lot of Roethlisberger, ... great results but just shut up and play.
Trump can’t be quiet. It’s against his nature. A lot of the protest against him might just go away if he stopped reacting to all of it on Twitter.
