I'd say he lost it before that, if he ever really had it in the first place. My favorite Falcons moment from Kiper was 2003. On TV he blasted the Falcons taking Justin Griffith in the fourth round because "the Falcons don't need another running back". Griffith was a fullback, not a running back. Falcons fullback Bob Christian had just retired after missing the end of the previous season due to a concussion, so the team *absolutely* had a need. Griffith became an instant starter. Head coach Dan Reeves was briefly on later and pointed out Griffith's correct position, but he didn't call out Kiper by name on the error and Kiper wasn't on set for the late rounds.
I left 2-name lists with RT and Joe for each of my back-to-back picks earlier. The other two names on that list were Collins and Morrison, who ironically almost just went back-to-back.
For everyone who didn't know, the inside joke there is that I went to grad school on Rocky Top - one of Kentucky's rivals.
By a crazy stroke of luck the bills get to reunite this corner and safety combo from Texas to Buffalo the bills select: Andrew Makuba, safety Texas
KIPER always sucked he had a monopoly . Once NFL network started you could just see the difference in talent evaluations. The only one worth a shit @ ESPN is Louis Riddick .
Good Morning Drafters. I did the usual, woke up, checked in, grabbed my spreadsheet and pen, then started scratching off all the picks I had listed... 3 times now... I need more pen and paper! (knowing how to draft might help too<---drafting 101 for dummies)
I really liked the Chargers, Bills and Panthers picks at Edge... I do believe highly in all 3 of them being the type of prospects that will adapt well to the NFL level.
