With pick 44 The Dallas Cowboys select, the 2025 NFL offensive rookie of the year RB Treveyon Henderson
@RTTRUTH is on the clock and I am here right behind him (listening to offers but got a couple players in mind for a quick turnaround)
The Indianapolis Colts select straight up ballhawk: Xavier Watts - S - Notre Dame @matthewwillson29
Honestly I haven’t spent any time on there. Just watching him play, he was clearly a wide receiver before. Reads the play well, natural hands, and knows how to fight at the catch point. Had some great plays in coverage during their playoff run this year. One source I read (not PFF) compared him to Harrison Smith. That’s what I’m after
Them and SportingNews are the only two sorces i have seen having him as a top 50 pick, but PFF has him stupidly high. He has a lot of upside but is definately impatient as well which gets him in trouble, because he tries to read QB eyes to jump routes. Strong NFL QBs look guys off real well, which he will have to adjust to if he wants have longevity in the league.
All this is why I expect the Commanders to be really high on Him when you add in his whole background and being a captian but Quinn and Whitt will want people who go get the ball
He definately has the skills and potential for sure. It will be interesting to see him adjust to a faster paced game with QBs who will progress through reads in a fraction of the time college QBs do. If he can make that adjustment, he has pro bowl all over him.
Lindy’s-2nd round Athlon Sports-2nd round PFN had him as a 1st-2nd a month ago. Currently 38 on their board. Where are you looking? In fairness, Lindys and Athlon are getting worse every year. But that’s getting back to my conversation about how as there are more people trying to have rankings getting in the game, there are wider discrepancies too on a lot of positions.
After putting Duke Tobin in the closet and taping his mouth shut.... The Cincinnati Bengals select Azareye'h Thomas CB FSU
I didn't see PFN, to be fair and I meant relevant, Lindys and Athlon stopped being a relevant source last year at a minimum.
I still miss Nolan Nawrocki’s draft guide from years ago. It was great. Breakdowns were crazy thorough. He’s the guy who got in a bit of hot water for making statements about Cam Newton’s character when he was coming out. Then he was briefly with nfl.com after the guide went away. I haven’t seen him in close to 10 years though
I think he's a great example in this draft class to me,where people call it a weak class and I believe it is cause the floors are lower on a lot of these players then I would like but there is almost the chance for great things from a lot of them if the fall into the right system/coaching staff.
Clearly not enough places because Walter Football wants to have his Babies. They have him in a 1-2 rounder. Haha
Not really a big deal, but he's been top 50 in most places. Some are higher some are lower, but he is pretty consistent 40-50 range.
