Chiefs looking at OLs is one of the more poorly kept secrets of this draft. They may actually have to trade up a small ways to catch the league off guard
I could have gone two different directions here, but frankly, this offense needs a rudder to steer the ship. I think this kid could be Chubb's replacement. With the 33rd overall, and the first pick of the second round, The Cleveland Browns select: Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
A lot of great RBs in this draft, but there are two that stand out above the rest.. I would be stoked if the draft fell this way in April.
The New York Giants select: Walter Nolan, DT, Mississippi. Joe Schoen remains the most predictable and needs based drafter in the NFL by taking a QB first and now a player to stand next to Dexter Lawrence at the top of the second.
I actually expected @Campbell to take him for the Chiefs. If he had, Nolan would have been the pick here to help solidify a stout defense after already adding Carter. But with Hampton available, it is time to start building on a terrible offense.
I debated between Starks and him. Went with the bigger area of need for Philly, not that they have any real areas of need.
I joke about Schoen being a needs based drafter... but Nolan was need and value matching up for the most part. I would have had to think long and hard about Hampton had you left him on the board. This is the zone where people stop worrying so much about the fact that they are running backs and instead worry about the fact that they are damn good football players. Aside from the fact that's he's on the hottest of seats heading into this season... the fan response to the guy who let's Barkley walk for nothing taking a RB at #34 overall would be BRUTAL.
Eagles can go any way. If a D-lineman they love is there they will likely take him but Starks fits the bill as a talented guy that could see early playing time. The S competition is open.
