Good morning. Wish I could see the Northern Lights, but a rain system is moving in again, all cloudy here. People in the Florida Keys are viewing them overnight, which is rare to say the least. Its quite the thing to see and I have never seen this anomaly before... maybe one day. As a ham radio operator (FCC government licensed radio ops) keeping track of solar data is part of the hobby as the geo-magnetic field is critical to radio waves propagation. This recent explosion from the Sun is the strongest in over 20 years. Currently there are radio blackouts around the planet as we speak.
