I'll be updating rosters sometime tomorrow morning and will post when completed for everyone to double check.
That’s weird, I’m not seeing Bijan on my roster. I just can’t catch a break. Otherwise everything is good
I also drafted more vets than rookies.... Then again, like RT, I went one better than him and didn't start my draft until the 3rd round. Irish's Rabid Dawgs draft: 3.3 Will Levis, QB, Tennessee Titans (r) 3.9 Will Anderson Jr, EDGE, Houston Texans (r) 4.3 Cedric Tillman, WR, Cleveland Browns (r) 5.3 Tyler Higbee, TE, LA Rams Vet 6.3 Zonovan Knight, RB, NY Jets Vet 7.3 Deuce Vaughn, RB, Dallas Cowboys (r) 8.3. Khalil Mack, EDGE, LA Chargers Vet 9.3 Cade York, K, Cleveland Browns Vet 10.3 Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Cleveland Browns Vet Traded 2024 2nd round pick for Will Andrson Jr. and 2024 4th round pick Traded 2024 6th round pick for Ryan Tannehill. Securing the starting QB for the Titans in 2023 and most likely 2024, between him and Levis. Now, I also pondered the long list of available players, and despite having the 3rd overall draft position this year, my roster is very deep in 2nd tier players. I am lacking in a couple of super stars to round out the group, which will inevitably keep me in the mediocre range for 2023 most likely. However, there weren't players that were going to take many of my current roster guys. That's why I just had fun with it and took some Browns players that wouldn't have been drafted anyway. It's more fun than passing or taking yet another name that has not chance of making my final roster. Overall, I'm happy with the moves I have made, including Kyle Pitts, whom I traded my 2023 first rounder to take last year.
BOMBERS updated additions are perfect. Thanks, Tim. Always love it when you do these drafts and reviews and such around here, well done! Now you can take a break, lol (until the next one).
The BOMBERS Draft went well or at least as well as I could possibly go. I love my 1st round... got an immediate points getter and a close future in Stroud. Wished I could have done better in the RB department, but thats the way it goes. 1.05 - Jordan Addison, WR 1.12 - C.J.Stroud, QB 2.05 - Rashee Rice, WR 5.05 - Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Edge 5.09 - Isaiah Foskey, Edge 6.05 - Nolan Smith, LB 7.05 - Greg Joseph, K 8.05 - Russell Gage, WR 9.05 - Ty Chandler, RB 10.05 - Jaren Hall, QB Thanks to all the participants as I really enjoyed this Draft and tip of the cap to all those who worked behind the scenes to keep this running.
I didn't have a pick in the first two rounds, but I will tell you that if I had the #3 overall (my original pick), I would have taken Stroud at 3 with the way the first two picks went. Those first two picks are the only two players I would have taken ahead of Stroud. Maybe it's a comfort thing since I have seen every game he has ever played, but I think his skill level is at or above all other QBs in this class, plus he has the physical traits to boot. As for the other skill players, I just don't trust any of them enough to believe they will end up top 10-15 performers at their position in the NFL. I think Stroud can end up a top 5-10 QB in this league in fantasy. Willie made out in this draft, imo...
I didn't get Dicker and you gave Delpit to Rico instead of me. If you gave him to Irish I would have understood.
