I was planning on leaving them until someone eventually picked, or I might autofill them at some point after the real draft ended and everyone has otherwise forgotten about the thread. But if RT/Joe plan to do the "regular" Draft Value Challenge, then at least for purposes of the challenge we might need to fill them in before that. But... @LAOJoe - do you actually need them filled? You ought to be able to just leave them blank and do without them for the Challenge.
Don't worry about it. We'll do your condensed style value challenge. I just know I will have trouble trying to post the big one, never mind scoring it this year.
Ravens really wants guys that bleed purple. I really like the first 3 picks. Looking at what the Panthers need I really like their draft. 1st 3 guys can find some type of role (obviously Young). I would have strongly considered Hyatt had he slipped. It would have been between him, Tyler Steen and Anton Harrison.
The security cameras at several intersections showed him taking off first with her well behind him. So... she was in the rear view mirror unless she somehow caught up with him en route, which isn't bloody likely in such a short amount of time and given his high rate of speed. I don't know him personally at all, and I have no ties to the school. But I do know that road and that specific curve. I have driven it many times. I have also been seeing all of the local coverage related to the accident - far more than what makes the national and international news.
Ok, but what is your point? He didn't even enter a not guilty plea, he took a sentence over it so its not like this has been misconstrued has it? And as i said there's a clear pattern of behavior here re speeding, which has been compounded by a lot of undesirable behavior in the immediate aftermath. Sure he's young, but he's behaved like a straight up punk. I just genuinely hope a message gets thru after this, because Henry Ruggs is legit where these things can end up. For my part, I(and a few other of the guys on my board) have a personal policy of not wanting bad character guys on the team, regardless of talent. We're none of us perfect, but blatantly criminal or endangering behavior, GTFO. I won't cheer for them, don't care if they're wearing navy and orange or how good they are. None of any of this is to say Carter will def be a bust, he very well might not. He's extremely talented, thats undeniable. But i see major maturity issues among other things. In the right setting it could work, a rock solid locker room like the Steelers he could be a big success. But besides my personal policy the other reason i don't want him is the Bears don't have the Steelers locker room. They have a lily livered HC and a very young roster. And Chicago is a tough football town, the fans/media will go after you. They flamed Lance Briggs ass for crashing his Lambo and he was a multiple pro bowler. Carter in Chicago has disaster written all over it imo.
@Torgo OTC @EvertonBears on deck @MaroonTyphoon bookend that duo @Joe McDonnell and @SportsFanatic can also take their last pick at any time.
Dolphins Draft Picks: Saiki Ika, NT Ricky Stromberg, C/G Will Mallory, TE Caleb Murphy, Edge TBH i found the Dolphins very tough. Only two picks above the 6th round, no draft capital to move and no trade down partners in rounds 2 or 3. Even next year the Phins are missing multiple draft picks so i didn't want to cheat a little and use what they had next year to move up this year. The lower round picks were shots in the dark and some of you guys who really know their stuff prob could've made a lot more with them. I couldn't. What i can say is i did address areas which were legit needs. NT, need. Interior OL, need. TE, need. I was keeping an eye out for another CB along the way, but non seemed to present themselves and there was no ammo to move for one. Who would've thought 4draft picks could be so much work heh.
@EvertonBears OTC @MaroonTyphoon on deck @Torgo, @MaroonTyphoon, @Joe McDonnell and @SportsFanatic can also take their last pick at any time.
Nah, without hindsight that is about as good as you could get IMHO. You can't always get everything with so many needs or so little picks. You did a great job!
My point is that I actually do know a few things about the case, so your personal attacks are way off base.
Bears Draft Picks Peter Skoronski, OT Adetomiwa Adebawore, DE/3 Tech Joe Tippmann, C Felix-Anudike Azumoh, Edge Andre Carter, Edge Jaylon Jones, CB Moro Ojomo, DT Keaton Mitchell, RB Jason Taylor, S Suffice to say Bears draft went much better. Extremely happy with those first 5 picks, either in terms of positional need, value or both. Shame the actual draft won't go anything like that heh.
Anything that would alter the outcome of the case? Cos if that existed its likely he would've used it no? Trying to airbrush repeated irresponsible, illegal and endangering behavior is whats off base.
