How could I forget the guy that had JJ Watt on his board as a 4th rounder. There is a DT last name Slade in this draft.
I do find that to be more accurate than the other one. Still not perfect but much better. Both at the beginning of the 2nd round get confused about how much more a pick should be worth than the next though.
JJ overvalues earlier picks and undervalues later picks in respect to Rich Hill. Around 2nd round they are about the same. I think the convergence is pick 64 (grain of salt). There are other charts that the nfl doesn't really trade by but are interesting to look at such as Fitzgerald-Spielberger (salary trade). And other AV (Approximate Value) charts. Future picks aren't really calculated on the charts and neither are players.
Not a great draft for QBs in retrospect. Although Bradford did fetch 1st round pick from the Vikings. Only QB that was is currently active from that draft iirc is Colt McCoy. People miss on QBs all the time, wouldn't be too hard on that asshat. I didn't think Kizer was that bad, he wasn't my #1 but I had him rated higher than where he went. I had him better than Trubisky. That was a draft with Mahomes and Watson.
Deadline already passed but I'm going in assuming the Eagles got Zaccheaus. It'd honestly be weird not to.
Certainly no objections here. I could jokingly say that if I was in your spot I might prefer to pretend that the signing did NOT happen. But I don't imagine that Philadelphia intends to have him be the #2 WR like he was in Atlanta for much of last season. Solid depth piece, but you're in deep trouble if you're planning on him starting.
In general, the "roster freeze" is mainly for trades - things that would impact draft picks and other teams' rosters. If your team signs a free agent in real life, sure, he's yours if you want him. Adjust your draft strategies accordingly. If your team cuts a player, feel free to say you're keeping him or cut him.
Yes, all times posted in the spreadsheet are Eastern. Thanks for pointing that out! (Last year it was called "Torgo's Half-Assed Last Minute Rush Job Mock Draft". This is an example of why...)
Happy 4/20 everyone! Enjoy the day! Major TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT: After enjoying several bags of Sour Diesel and White Widow, the Jacksonville Jaguars traded the entire franchise to @BowserBroncos for a large pizza, two family-size bags of Doritos, an assortment of Pepperidge Farm cookies, a box of Eggo Waffles and a bottle of Mrs Butterworth's syrup. A team spokesperson said "Yeah, man. We couldn't believe it. I mean, we were only asking for the pizza and the waffles. But then he just gave us the cookies and the chips, and I mean wow, it's BOTH kinds, nacho cheese flavor AND cool ranch. And then he even hooked us up with the syrup for the waffles. I mean, wow, how could we forget the syrup? That Widow is some powerful shit, man..." So... direct any trade inquiries for the Jaguars to @BowserBroncos.
That was the "coincidence" I referred to earlier. Pretty sure @gidion72 was on to me from the start. But then, I specifically recruited him to represent the Chiefs for a reason (which will also become obvious later on if it isn't already) ...
Bradford was a legit Franchise QB level player... If he could have made it through a season with a working leg... Kizer... woof. I watched 3 games of that guy and noped out. I didn't get how anyone had Trubisky as the top QB in that class, loved Maholmes and having watched a lot of Watson's Clemson career... I still thought he was a great college QB who wouldn't be a very good pro. Whoops.
