For the value challenge RicoL8's entry: Risers: 60, 65, 66, 67, 68 Fallers: 61, 62, 63, 64, 69 Unintentional 50/50 split
I might very well copy that but I'll swap Harris to a riser for now. Risers: 60, 62, 65, 66, 67, 68 Fallers: 61, 63, 64, 69
Iron Man RISE 7, 8, 9, 11, 19 FALL 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 Not hating on most of those fallers. I expect a good chunk of those fallers to not fall too far while a couple risers I have with a slight rise.
i think we should start a new thread for the value challenges...where are the instructions? I didn't memorize all that while we were drafting. I'm lost. lol!
The one year we allow more than 2 UDFAs (so not to conflict with the value challenge) is the year RT probably doesn't give a crap about having more of them. lol
entries RISE 60 62 65 67 FALL 61 63 64 66 68 69 IRON MAN RISE 5 7 8 10 14 15 16 18 19 FALL 1 2 3 4 6 9 11 12 13 17 20
Instructions for draft value challenges: Regular one = picks 60-69 (last five picks of round 2, first five of round 3) Choose RISE or FALL for each one Rise = +2 points per pick they rise if right, -1 if they fall Fall = +1 point per pick they fall if right, -2 if they rise max +/- 50 per player EXCEPT max +136 for picking a riser who rises (absolutely firm limit on that one. don't ask me to let it go higher than +136...) (double points for guys who rise because we're closer to the beginning of the draft so rising is harder/less room) Iron Man version = picks 1-20 of round 5. Pick rise/fall for each one. +1/-1 for each pick they rise or fall, max +/- 100 points per player. I'll probably do the Scrabble one next year. I'm really loving the potential there and wishing I'd thought of it like a week earlier so that I could have more time to make it a good combination of skill and utter silliness.
I might come back later and fill in UDFA choices for the teams I covered, but I already hit the complete wish list that I had for all three teams.
It might be too late to try it for this year, but an idea for a Scrabble game is we choose six picks in the 1-20 range. We get the Scrabble scores for the names of the guys who actually get picked in those spots. We also get to name one of our choices as having a double word score for the first name and one of them as having a double word score for the last name.
