When you stop to think about it . . . the most important piece of a pick window is the "End Time". This is the point in time where you may get skipped.
Agree 100%. The trade takes what would be a disastrous situation (if he stays) and gets something out of it (a second round pick and at least some cap relief). And on the other end, SEA gets an instant starter at QB for a second round pick and some upcoming cap manipulation. I can think of two teams (there are probably others) that theoretically could use Mayfield but where the trade wouldn't work. But for SEA, I'm sure @turf_toe can work out the extension and other details to make Mayfield fit Seattle's cap situation.
Well you kind of were. He came to me with plenty of questions over the last few days about salary caps and trades. I told him what I would do, and what I wouldn't do, and I left the rest to him. He now is familiar with OTC site, and has much better understanding. He hung in there pretty well, and all the scenarios were his ideas. I know you can be tough, so I think he did pretty good.
Just an update... I added the spreadsheet to the first post on page 1 of this thread. So if you don't see it on the current page or a recent page, you can always go to page 1 and it will be right there at the top.
Might as well light this up . . . . With the 1st pick in the Half-Assed Mock Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select: EDGE, Aidan Hutchinson - Michigan
I was but I feel like him and Walker are the first two guys off the board. I love me some Hutch and it would be awesome to see him stay home, but zero shame in a Michigan boy being the top pick!
With the first shock of this mock With the 3rd pick of the draft the Houston Texans Select: QB Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh There is a reason the Texans wanted to move on from Watson before the draft and only has Davis Mills on the roster. Some publications don't have Pickett as the top QB, but he is the most viable QB in this draft imho. Regardless, I think they go QB at #3 over all come draft night, as surprising as it is to most.
