I'm taking my "fun" pick for Denver now rather than in the seventh. Russell Wilson could certainly have fun throwing to this guy. Broncos select Tanner Connor, WR - Idaho State
I feel kinda lucky getting him at this point. I wanted a depth LB that would contribute on special teams early with a decent potential to actually develop into more that just that. Bernard was one of the few guys I had on my shortlist at the position for the later rounds and I kept passing on him and some other guys and he was the last remaining name on the list.
Broncos draft summary... Russell Wilson. Seriously, does it even matter what I do? The main issue that I see for Denver is that they lost two of their outlets for Wilson - TE and one of their main RBs. So I got a top shelf TE, a top shelf RB (who is also an excellent receiver), a pair of CBs - including the best PR/KR in this draft class, with NINE return touchdowns in his college career, a little depth for both lines, and now a big, fast developmental WR prospect (a 6' 3", 226-pound track athlete who also did TE position drills at his pro day).
A quick downhill runner, D'Vonte Price will certainly find a spot on the special teams and even possibly take over from Evans or Wilson in the primary kick returner role.
Chicago has back-to-back picks #221 and #222 coming up. (6-43 and 7-1) OPEN TRADE OFFER: The pair of picks is up for grabs for the first team that offers a future 5th. (Chicago used a future 3rd earlier to get Justyn Ross and is looking to recoup some of that future pick value.)
I mean, I think it's a jealousy thing, by Lyman tells me that he is just happy when the Browns don't go 0-17. Lol jk
LOL. Some of my PMs probably made it obvious that we finalized the teams and posted the schedule on 4/20...
