Two more random thoughts; Steve Smith Sr on NFL-N, one of my most love-hate guys out there. I like his coverage sometimes, find him real annoying other times. He's funny occasionally. But he's also stuttering, trying to make a point that at best isn't news occasionally. The Packers have done a terrible job managing their roster over the last couple years. NFL-N just did the Packers/Rodgers vs Buccs/Brady breakdown. Exacerbated every issue we all had already pointed out with the Packers drafting Rodgers replacement and Jones' backup with their first two picks last year. Then when they face Brady/Buccs they come up short. Probably missing two players roughly...(maybe a coordinator?). Sure plausible one more CB and one more WR or OT could have been the difference in that game
What's the one thing you really want to see tonight? For me, it's pretty simple. I wanna see Goodell walk to the podium (at some point in the mid-teens) and say; "We have a trade. The Cleveland Browns are now on the clock." lol! That place will erupt.
...it could be happening! https://bleacherreport.com/articles...rs-ravens-browns-linked-to-trades-up-in-draft
Maybe it's just me, but I really hope Steve Smith is only on the NFL Ch. pre-draft coverage...geez. Been watching for 10 minutes and he's already annoying.
I barely got all my contests in on time. I only feel okay about the DVC. I took risks in TD's and good luck with Tim's.
Broncos going to trade for Rodgers? What is the going rate for a 37 year old QB who wants to be Alex Trebek when he grows up?
Rodgers stays in Green Bay, he gets a ludicrous extension, and they draft a wide receiver in the first to try and make him play nice.
Too much for me as a fan of the acquiring team. But for a GM who gets security with a Superbowl run, and actually believes his team is close, and has the politics of selling jerseys and seats to worry about, maybe fair. Guessing at least two 1sts if I'm being honest
