If anybody has any players on their roster they’d like to trade for picks, I have quite a few mid-late rounders I’m willing to send.
Honestly considered him for Houston. I'm actually not real impressed by his tape, but everything I read gives him a more glowing review than I initially did. What say you @TopDawg What's his best fit? Strengths and weaknesses? Will he become a quality starter?
True as that may be, I didn't take Pete Werner. Why not ask Lym about him? I Already have future HoF's Baron Browning and Jabril Cox in the fold...
I considered him for a later pick too. Since you're the resident Buckeyes expert, I'll second RT's question. What's your vibe on Werner? Can he KILL THE GOBLIN! and Help Her Find The Cheater? Or did he simply reap the rewards of being on the field with talented teammates?
Easy enough, just let me adjust my Buckeye glasses. j.k.....Simply put, Werner is a solid LB. Very under-rated. Really sells out and plays hard every play. Great on the blitz. He's instinctive and he's a really good tackler....Makes a lot of plays, though sometimes has trouble getting off blocks. He's faster than ya think, and he can stay downfield with the faster RB's, but he doesn't have the classic size. He doesn't have the same buzz about him as Browning, but he could be a steal . Three down potential, and nobody will out work him. My opinion is it's a great pick right here.
Thanks for bearing with me last night gentleman. As I mentioned my schedule is a little bit weird this year and I got my slots mixed up. I didn't think I was on the clock until this morning for some reason.
Just noticed, not that it's a big deal, but on the draft chart (Jax Pick 4.1) Dwayne Eskridge has school listed as Michigan...That should be Western Michigan.
