2020 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS

Its been fun, but surreal at the same time... no fans is strange.

I have to admit what they have done to the rinks in Toronto and Edmonton is pretty good as far as camera coverage and what not and the teams seem to be adapting to the 'no crowd' thing. The best thing is NO glasspounders, lol.

Overall, it is some intense hockey. I give credit to these players for giving it a go and making the best out of a unique situation. They are going all out out there... good games so far and I believe they will only get better.

NHL hockey during a pandemic is going to be different, but so far, i like it.

 

Will......as you are aware I was concerned that the NHL was NOT going to make this Playoff happen.

And I'm very surprised at how well they have pulled it off.........The Hub Cities worked.

They have a ton of problems, but Manfred says the show will go on.

Im pleasantly surprised at how well the NHL is doing... tip of the hat to the players for making it work.

 

With 5 to go in the second... Vancouver breaks the ice with the games first goal... this has been a spirited, hard fought game.

So in on the Lafreniere sweeps are Calgary and NYR. Hoping Mtl beats Pitt so that they cant get their dirty paws on him because I feel like Mtl would inevitably get him if its possible.

 

crazy hypothetical- if Arizona were to lose the next 2 games and win the Lafreniere sweeps would the Leafs be open to trading Matthews to Arz for the #1 pick? Matthews is a stud but Im really only thinking about the 3 years of cap space the Leafs could use to get D.

 

That is crazy... I would think Mathews is an untouchable, but you never know.
