2020 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS

Tampa is strange. I've consistently said that I believe that they are far and away the most talented team in the league but some matchups are just tough for them. I can't figure it out at all.
Regardless, if they add Stamkos to the lineup......good luck Dallas.

 

And I dont mean to be shitting on Dallas, I like Dallas. Love Jamie Benn, he could play in any era of hockey. Always liked Seguin because I thought he'd be a Broon HOFer and his skills are sublime. Roope Hintz quickly becoming the most underrated F in the game, his speed and size are tough to stop. Miro Heiskenen is probably their best player and still such a young D, I see Norris in his future. Love Khudobin, a modern(er) Tim Thomas in both style and his story.

 

Interesting tid-bit I read at NHL.com...

"The Stars won two games against the Lightning in the regular season, each in overtime (4-3 on Dec. 19; 3-2 on Jan. 27). Tyler Seguin scored three points (one goal, two assists), and Benn scored two goals. Alexander Radulov (one goal, one assist), Gurianov (one goal, one assist) and Klingberg (two assists) each scored two points. Khudobin made 45 saves on 48 shots in the 4-3 win. Ben Bishop made 23 saves on 25 shots in the 3-2 win."

Top-line production is a must for Dallas in this sereis and they showed when it counts, they can show up.

I guess my only reason for rooting for the Stars is I like TB much less, but do recognize they are an awesome team at both ends of the ice.

I read, Stamkos skated at the optional practice. Probably wont play in Game 2, but he's getting real close to returning.

 

Dallas wins tonight because they are the home team.

 

Makes sense; hard to argue with such cogent reasoning.

The Lightning's Power Play has been alive now, since game 2. I think they were 0-14 before that. Anyway, in my opinion, thats been the killer for the Stars in these last 2 games... stupid penalties and the lack of breaking up the Bolts man advantage. They move the puck really well on the PP against the Stars and I think when Dallas is behind, they get a little rattled.

that Mexican looks good VV. questions though, is that tequila and why is there lemon in it and not limes?
Unless Seguin can get on the scoresheet Tampa steps on Dallas' throat tonight and gets one win away.
