Las Vegas Raiders sign QB Ryan Tannehill $8,000,000 Tanny and Trubisky QB battle coming to Sin City.....
This bid was pretty long after the 48 hour deadline, so: The New York Jets sign: WR Robby Anderson $12,000,000
I am not arguing Paddy’s point; I just want clarification. My understanding is that it takes 48 hours, AND a declaration by the team that the player is signed. (I am in Portugal and I’m doing my best to stay on top of things on my iPhone. That’s a challenge.) Please verify, and I will rescind my bid - or accept that it is voided. I am at my $ limit for this, so extending this will not serve a positive end.
Actually though, my understanding was that because the rescind was 48 hours after my original bid was made, I am free to sign Ebron. Kinda relates to the Anderson bid as well I guess. From what I've seen this year, there's no expectation to sign the players immediately after the clock ends, it's assumed that you have won the bid.
Not wishing to piss off anyone named Paddy. I look forward to clarification and will happily comply with the ruling.
It's always been my interpretation that, even though a high bid has been out there for 48 hrs or more, a player is fair game until the high bidding team posts that they signed him. But, recently, my interpretations have turned to shit. @Tim ???

If that's the case I'm happy to follow the rules, completely fair. Not sure it's always been happening during this year though, might be worth putting it in writing somewhere (if I haven't just missed it) if we do this again next year.
