Yup I think they both should be targets for the real Giants. I am not hearing about any actual interest in either player though =( Van Noy (who I have now subbed in thanks guys) is the name that keeps getting thrown about because he worked with the new coaching staff.
On that note, I know one owner was already quoted as saying that if the new CBA is approved, they will immediately push back the deadline for tagging players so teams have time to catch up to the new parameters
Possibly -- but Snead has said they don't expect to use it (though there was hedging of bets) and they have to figure out how to pay Ramsey before he becomes a free agent. We shall see.
Yeah they will definitely have to do that. For my amusement the way I played it out here is that I’ve already extended Ramsey. I’m guessing something in the ballpark of $20 per year, with about half guaranteed. But for the purposes of cap space I kept his salary pretty low this year. I picture it back loaded with guarantees, when some of these receivers salaries (and Gurley) disappear. At least that’s how it all looks in my head

Every year I am disgusted by what it takes to sign a free agent and the it seems like we are right more often than not. The price on Kyle Van Noy has officially hit that point for me...
