LAOJoe - still looking to trade up? After the Jaguars, it's Tim x 2 (hey, more math!) and then me.

At this point I can pick, trade down, whatever. I've snagged my two LBs and my two DLs, so I'm sort of in "whichever way the wind blows" mode for the rest of the draft.

 

Assuming Tim doesn't want to deal I've sent you my offer.

Something amusing along those lines... I was researching some stuff from drafts in the 1960s and found that in some cases teams intentionally went overtime and let themselves be passed over, waiting all day long to make their picks. This was when the NFL was still competing with the AFL.

Teams knew who they wanted, but they waited until they were sure the guy would sign before they announced the pick so that they could sign/draft someone else if their first choice had a better offer from the AFL.
